From your post: "By now you have seen the video of Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC) as she fled early in tears from that hearing. I presume, Mace had just learned that her lord and savior, Donald Trump, had his “finger in the pie”, so to speak."

Someone needs to explain to these female GOP lawmakers who have acknowledged that they themselves are victims of sexual abuse that their support of Trump (and in the case of Sen. Joni Ernst, Pete Hegseth) is further victimizing all of these sexual abuse victims!

For whatever reason they bend their knee to this felon-being trying to keep their jobs or/and being threatened to hurt their families- they are traitors to the country. I always wonder what their families think about their treason to their oath to the Constitution.

Yes, they have! Part of me wishes the entire GOP would get sucked down to the earth's molten core (i.e., Hell), but the other part is afraid that too many Republicans (white conservatives) would then come flooding into the Democratic Party. The Dems have enough problems to deal with without that.

I don't know, IMO the GOP has done too good a job of demonizing the Democrats.

DINOS certainly exist, but I don't think many of them come from districts that Trump won resoundingly. They are more likely to crop in state legislaures in districts that are very blue. NC has certainly seen than phenomona.

The survivors are the center of this story, not the politicians scrambling to look righteous. Every system that protected Epstein still runs on the same fuel—power, silence, profit. For these voices to rise in public is more dangerous to the machine than any headline about Trump.

What matters now is that the pressure doesn’t fade when the cameras move on. Files must open. Names must surface. The rot must be dragged into daylight.

Blessed be the ones who speak truth after being silenced, and blessed be the ones who refuse to look away when that truth scorches the powerful.

And then Donnie after from the gold room at Versailles "It's a.hoax. it's a Democrat hoax (after the victims finished saying it is not a hoax, mentioned Clinton, Dershowitz, Lex Wexner, said Epstein kept a picture of Donnie on his desk and one of the victims said she was a Repub and they all said this is not political. D or R). They all said they are terrified, there are hundreds of others too afraid. None of them implied anything about Donnie (probably terrified) which means he's up to his nutsack. HE is terrified. Did you notice the two jets ovedhead while they were speaking to drown them out? You know he sent them. Distract, Deny, delay. This is the only time I have ever or will say I appreciated MTG. Even Bobo. The victims said they want the names of every person who does not vote for the bill. They want transparency. Names redacted but the rest of the files released. They only need two useless Rs to pass this. I cried that Virginia Roberts brother was there and spoke for her. Very moving. Oh, and LOVED how they excoriated Todd Blanche and Ghislaine being moved to a " spa" They were chilled when they heard her lie on tape with Blanche. She not only procured them but participated at times too.

I wrote somewhere (probably on many substacks and have no idea how to find it) when I heard that tape I thought "how easily she lies". I remember one of the victims ages ago saying when they met her she was this well-dressed, rich POSH upper class British with the accent and they felt comfortable and trusted her...until she went in for the kill. That's how she got her victims Now lets see what happens.

I applaud the survivors for their courage. They were young girls. It’s not easy for them, I’m sure.

“Today, we met and heard the stories of the victims of Jeffrey Epstein—some of whom shared their stories for the first time ever. What they revealed is not only the trauma of hundreds (maybe thousands) of young women, but a cover-up of epic proportions involving the wealthy, the well-connected, and even our own government—all the way to the top.” —Rep Melanie Stansbury. Love her!

⬆️"They were young girls. It’s not easy for them, I’m sure."

I listened to part of the press conference.

One of the most diabolical aspects of Epstein's and Maxwell's pedophile ring was that many of the girls were introduced to them by girls whom they considered **friends** - who were themselves victims of the abuse. It sounded like the only way they could escape further sexual abuse themselves was to help recruit new victims. It was like a perverted multi-level marketing scheme.

Cheryl, I listened to most of the press conference, also. You’re right, and I thought about that pyramid scheme too. They were just girls— trapped. It’s horrible! Epstein and Maxwell are both vile. And some of them are still afraid, too.

For the victims who are bearing witness today, there are thousands of men and women who will not be in Washington!

Please keep that

in mind when they speak of their ordeals!

Parents of the Island children, who allowed their children to go to Epstein’s Island for “modeling” careers, will not be heard!

There are thousands more that will not be heard !

This must be brought into the light!

The survivors, who shouldn’t have to speak out, have more spine given what those young girls have been through, than ANY man on Capital Hill who is covering this up. I would ask them - do they have daughters? Wives? Mothers? Probably. How hard is it to make sure children are protected? And get military style weapons off the street while you’re at it. Our country is nothing without our children.
