Trump Had A Brutal Week. Corporate Media Barely Noticed.
Eight times the regime lost—here’s every one they didn’t want you to see
I’m glad you’re here. After another week of Trump’s chaos, I’ve got a stack of real wins to share with you today.
This week, the regime kept reaching for what wasn’t theirs and kept coming back empty-handed—in courtrooms, at the ballot box, in an Everglades parking lot where a whole prison camp used to be.
You’re going to like where this goes. So before you read another line, hit the ❤️ like button and restack it. Substack shows your restack to people who’ve never heard of us—so those few taps take a win the regime wants buried and put it right in front of a stranger who needs some inspiration today.
We have no corporate owner, no ad money, no billionaires. Just readers like you. So if you’re not a paid subscriber yet and The Dworkin Report has ever turned a heavy morning into one you could actually get up and face—come all the way in with us:
1. A JUDGE VOIDED TRUMP’S TAX-IMMUNITY DEAL
Trump sued his own IRS and called the payoff a “settlement”—a $1.776 billion slush fund for his allies, plus a deal shielding him and his sons from ever being audited for their back taxes. This week Judge Kathleen Williams sanctioned his lawyers, reported his Attorney General nominee to the bar, and threw the whole scheme out as collusion—dead from the start.
2. TRUMP JUST PAID E. JEAN CARROLL $5.6 MILLION
For three years Trump fought the jury that found he sexually abused and defamed E. Jean Carroll, appealing all the way to a Supreme Court that refused to rescue him. This week the money finally moved from his account to hers—$5,625,005.48, down to the last forty-eight cents.
3. THE REGIME KEEPS LOSING IN COURT
The regime sued 30 states and DC to seize your private voter files—your birthdate, your address, pieces of your Social Security number—and it keeps getting thrown out of court. Just yesterday, Trump’s own Judge Kari Dooley slammed the door in Connecticut—and your information stayed exactly where it belongs.
4. GUN LOBBY LOADED THE BENCH AND STILL LOST
The gun lobby fought for years to kill the Illinois ban on assault weapons and got exactly the panel it wanted—three Republican-appointed judges. They lost anyway. Trump’s own Amy St. Eve wrote the ruling, and she used the gun lobby’s own favorite argument to keep the ban alive.
5. MUSK REFERRED TO A PROSECUTOR
Last year Elon Musk spent more than $20 million and handed out million-dollar checks to voters in a Wisconsin Supreme Court race—and his side still lost by ten points. This week Wisconsin’s bipartisan elections commission found probable cause he broke the state’s bribery law and referred him to a Republican DA.
6. “ALLIGATOR ALCATRAZ” IS AN EMPTY AIRSTRIP NOW
They bragged that alligators around the Everglades detention camp would keep anyone from escaping—that was the cruel point of it. This week the whole thing came down: the tents, the generators, and the sign with that name hauled off on flatbeds, until all that was left was empty pavement.
7. YESSENIA RUANO IS BACK HOME IN MILWAUKEE
A trafficking survivor and mother of US-born twins, Yessenia Ruano was forced out of the country in 2025 after ICE refused to let her stay while her visa was pending. This week a federal judge ordered her return—and she brought her girls home to Milwaukee.
8. HOUSING LAW TOOK EFFECT
The biggest housing bill in more than three decades became law at the stroke of midnight last weekend—Trump refused to sign it, and it took effect anyway. Sen. Elizabeth Warren nailed why he wouldn’t pick up the pen: “no gold-encrusted ballroom, no Qatari jet, no $2 billion crypto deal.” Nothing in it for him—everything in it for you.
These wins don’t happen on their own.
Behind every one is a lawyer who wouldn’t fold, a voter who showed up, and a reader who picked up a pen—more than 789,000 letters to Congress since November, landing right where the decisions get made. That’s what your subscription funds. Not just a newsletter—the reporting, the reach, and the pressure that made this week happen.
The regime is betting a fortune you’ll decide it’s pointless and walk away. Funding this is how you prove them wrong:
Before you go, hit the ❤️ like button and restack this—pick the win that hit you hardest and put it in front of someone the algorithm works to keep in the dark.
Onward!
Scott
Which one of these wins are you sending to the person who swears the fight is hopeless? Let me know in the comments! I read them all.

#1 FOCUS—SHARE AND SEND: Tell your Senators to vote NO on Todd Blanche: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-your-senators-oppose-todd-blanche-for-attorney-general/
I just want to say how proud I am of everyone who keeps pushing through weeks like this. Reading these stories, I kept thinking about how many people are quietly fighting for each other. The people we’ll never meet, families we’ll never know, moments of courage that don’t make the news but still change the world.
Keep up the good work, everyone. 💙 🌊
