Don’t let Trump bury this great news for the resistance
The Trump regime keeps on losing—in the courts, at the ballot box, in the streets, and even in the writers’ room at late-night shows.
Corporate media won’t cover these wins, and the regime is desperate to keep them buried. So hit the ❤️ like button and re-stack right now to help the resistance punch through MAGA propaganda.

HOCHUL BEATS TRUMP IN COURT
In another act of retaliation that benefited no one, Trump tried to kill New York’s congestion pricing toll. A federal judge said no last week in a blistering 149-page opinion.
US District Judge Lewis Liman—a Trump appointee—ruled the regime’s effort to be unlawful, writing that it’s “difficult to imagine more arbitrary and capricious decision-making.”
NY Gov. Kathy Hochul agreed: “Donald Trump’s unlawful attempts to trample on the self-governance of his home state have failed spectacularly.”
Janno Lieber, who runs New York City’s transit system, declared: “New York is winning.” They sure are—and Trump is not.
STANDING UP FOR SCIENCE
It’s not just the courts saying no to the regime—the people are too, with large crowds gathering at nearly 50 Stand Up for Science rallies on Saturday. Thousands packed the National Mall in DC, where Dem Rep. Jamie Raskin spoke plainly: “We’ve got to beat them and take back democracy for people who believe in science.”
Dem Sen. Chris Van Hollen said: “When senior health officials lie, it does mean that people die.” He added: “So Kristi Noem is gone, we’ve got to get rid of RFK next. His conspiracy theories and his lies have literally put people’s lives at risk.”
Stand Up for Science founder and CEO Colette Delawalla said: “Last year we were warning people.”
DEMOCRATS SHOW UP
The momentum doesn’t stop there. Democratic turnout is surging.
Roy Cooper won the Democratic Senate nomination in North Carolina last week—with no serious challengers, in a state where Democrats haven’t won a Senate seat since 2008. No one had to show up. More than 800,000 did anyway—a 30% increase from 2022.
On the other hand, Republican turnout plummeted, down 18% to about 626,000. The last time North Carolina showed this kind of enthusiasm gap in a primary was four years ago, and it held strong through the November election.
Political scientist Michael Bitzer said: “There are a lot of people energized, a lot of people wanted to participate in the Democratic primary, even though there was really nothing statewide drawing them to that race.”
Bitzer asked: “Does that then translate to a Democratic wave potential going into the fall?” Based on what North Carolina just showed us, that question is answering itself.
THE REVOLUTION IS ON SUBSTACK
Colbert’s Late Show was canceled last summer, something Trump has been demanding for years. Paramount needed the regime’s approval for its merger with Skydance, and days after they set an end date for Colbert’s show, they got it. Paramount said it was “purely a financial decision,” claiming the show was losing $40 million a year.
On Sunday night, Colbert accepted the prestigious Writers Guild’s Walter Bernstein Award, named for a writer who was blacklisted during the McCarthy era.
“As we know, the revolution will not be televised,” Colbert said. “It was going to be televised, but then Paramount bought it.”
Colbert added that he heard the revolution was thinking about starting a Substack. It already did.
As courts hold, scientists march, and voters show up in record numbers, we’re documenting all of it—with no ads, no corporate parent, no merger to protect, and no regime to bow down to.
It’s all right here, funded only by readers like you. The resistance can’t be stopped, even if it won’t be televised. And we will be here every day until we flip Congress in November—and beyond. So if you haven’t yet, support our work by becoming a paid subscriber today:

Scott
I have one question for you today.
If you could send one message to every Democrat in Congress right now, what would it be?

Scott, my message for every Democrat in the Senate would be to not vote to confirm Markwayne Mullin for Secretary of DHS. He would be worse than Noem.
Every loss for Trump is a win for the resistance. And we're getting stronger every day.
