I'd rather have a colonoscopy and a root canal at the same time than listen to trmp. Or look at his putrid face.

Linda Ollis's avatar

That’s hard to beat. I was going to say clean out my junk drawer!

Judy Sherwood's avatar

You'd likely get some really GOOD drugs for those procedures!

Richard Class's avatar

That would be a very effective use of your time.

HarrisWalz FTW 2024's avatar

The root canal only counts if you get an infection underneath and have to call the doctor telling him the pain has not only not subsided, it's getting worse. Like, almost not being able to cry when talking to him worse. Then spend a week on antibiotics that upset your stomach, and this after you thought you were going in only for a consultation, not the procedure.

Having the colonoscopy isn't bad; it's the prep that kills you.

Richard Johns's avatar

LOL! That about sums up a lot of peoples' feelings about the convicted felon-in-chief!

Jean Sampson's avatar

Me too, John! :)

Sylvia Arrowood's avatar

Come on now, root canals are not that bad.

John Widdowson's avatar

you must be a dentist...LOL

Trump has no solutions, no coherent policies. All he offers is lies, corruption and name-calling. Whining, so much whining. whining like you never seen before!

Today’s post is a reminder that even in the noise, our resistance is powerful

I’m very happy for California but if the governor wasn’t positioning himself for a run for president, would he have exerted so much effort to fight? California still has serious issues so I wouldn’t consider even a moment to note for him. Too many democrats in high offices are not giving there all to fight trumpy! Our party has serious issues & those who haven’t been on the front lines need to retire. I will not vote for anyone over 60 (first campaign) & will not donate to them. I’m nearly 80 & have supported myself for many years & will not trust those who’ve been in office for years & getting richer by the year!

Trump's constant lying has surpassed his ability to stay ahead of what he says and the public seems to be catching on, although far too many still listen without hearing and follow without questioning. It is up to those of us who understand the truth to keep laying out there for the doubters and naysayers to see and hear, incessantly, until they cannot forget the truth even if they still want to deny it. That Trump could come up with nothing new to back his endless claim of cheating voters is testament to the exhaustive efforts of Democrats and supporters to share and spread the truth despite the onslaught of lies spewing from the WH. We have heard it all before, and what was untrue before remains untrue now, Mr. President. Your recycled claims are boring and useless and should just be ignored and maybe--just maybe--you'll dry up and disappear.

The news of California fighting the housing crisis is the best!

I’ll just drop this here: “Trump released documents that confirm Russia tried to interfere in the 2020 election to hurt Biden. It says Russia tried to “orchestrate a high-profile corruption scandal” and push narratives about “voter fraud resulting from mail-in balloting” Not China. See also:

There’s still so much good work happening in this country, and I’m grateful we get to lift it up.

Susan Wingate's avatar

Honestly, I can't believe we're all surprised that he lied again. Are we still counting all the lies he's told. Has he reach the million mark yet?

Scott Dworkin's avatar

I think he passed that years ago Susan!

Susan Wingate's avatar

Hahahahaaaaaaa. Hilarious. No doubt he did, Scott.

Pam Birkenfeld's avatar

Nobody is surprised, certainly not all of us!

Susan Wingate's avatar

What a sad state of affairs. He's destroying all that's good about our country.

Cindy Fogleman's avatar

Thanks for always highlighting the good that is happening! This is part of a healthy and effective resistance strategy!

I’d rather do anything else!

I’d rather chew on barbed wire, washing it down with a glass of molten lead, than listen to trump. If he uses the words “election fraud” again, I’d add a shot of drano to the lead.

So really, it’s out of self preservation that I avoid hearing trump’s wheezy, petulant voice heaping lie upon lie upon lie.

How long until Trump, instead of censoring the Smithsonian, simply takes what he wants.

I'd guess the LEAST he wants is the Hope Diamond.....

(I'm actually looking forward to seeing his defense for simply stealing taxpayer property, then calling us all "low IQ" for noticing.)

Judy Sherwood's avatar

and now he's building a helipad at the WH, without any approvals for any of it. So: the east wing, the rose garden, the Lincoln bathroom, the BIG ballroom, the front columns on the WH, the reflecting pool, a fountain with brown water, now a helipad.. what's next and what have I missed? That's not even counting the crypto, the grifted plane, and his boys' government contracts...

Denise Lowe's avatar

I can't watch or listen to him. I get too angry. So I always wait for journalists like you to provide the recaps, and I watch European murder mysteries. Last night, we watched reruns of Midsomer Murders. Much better for my blood pressure!

Linda Nemeth's avatar

I would rather do anything than listen to his lying voice. I change stations at the sound of his voice.
