Trump Lost In Court, Got Ditched By Allies, and Rejected By A GOP Town Council. And It’s Only Tuesday.
The world says no to Trump and more great news
Trump started an illegal war at 2:30am with an unhinged Truth Social post, while on another taxpayer-funded vacation in Florida. Now Congress is forcing a vote that will make every Republican go on record—the Constitution or Trump. Their answer will define every race in the fall.

STOPPING THE WAR NO ONE ASKED FOR
Trump announced his attacks on Iran from his Mar-a-Lago bunker while JD Vance sat in the actual Situation Room. No congressional vote. No legal justification. Just a social media post and an illegal war that has already killed six US service members.
Under the War Powers Act, Trump can only act unilaterally if the US has been attacked. It wasn’t—and his own intelligence confirmed it.
Ranking Democrat on the Senate Intel Committee Mark Warner said: “I saw no intelligence that Iran was on the verge of launching any kind of preemptive strike against the United States of America.” Congressional staff were told the same thing by Trump’s own officials. The regime’s justification collapsed before they could even try to spin it.
Rep. Ro Khanna, leading the House War Powers resolution with Rep. Thomas Massie, said it would be “disastrous … to vote for Trump’s war in the Middle East.” Sen. Tim Kaine, who introduced the Senate version, called the attacks “dangerous, unnecessary, and idiotic.”
The votes won’t override a veto—but pressure works. Earlier this year, a war powers vote on Venezuela got just enough Republican support that Kaine says it convinced Trump to cancel a second invasion.
Sen. Tammy Duckworth, who lost both legs in Iraq, said it best: “If there was ever a time for Republicans to find their spines, it’s now.”
THE WORLD DOESN’T SUPPORT TRUMP’S ILLEGAL WAR
Our allies pushed back immediately. In a joint statement, Britain, France, and Germany said: “We did not participate in these strikes,” and called for an immediate return to negotiations.
French President Emmanuel Macron said they were “neither warned nor involved.” He called for an emergency UN Security Council meeting, saying: “The current escalation is dangerous for everyone. It must stop.”
Oman’s foreign minister Badr Albusaidi, who had been brokering active negotiations between the US and Iran, said he was “shocked.” He said the strikes “undermined” the “active and serious negotiations,” as he urged the US not to “get sucked in further.”
Trump launched an illegal war without Congress, and without a shred of intelligence to back it up. Now he and Republicans own every consequence of that.
RESISTANCE SURGES EVEN IN RED TOWNS
Roxbury, New Jersey, is not a resistance stronghold. It’s a small town of 23,000 who overwhelmingly voted for Trump in 2024, run by an all-Republican council. DHS just paid $129.3 million—more than double the assessed value—to turn a 470,000-square-foot warehouse into an ICE prison camp right in the middle of it.
Sen. Andy Kim said: “This is a warehouse that is the size of over eight football fields and it’s right in the middle of a residential area ... Roxbury is a town that voted for Trump, it’s a Republican leadership, but they don’t want it there.”
During a packed town meeting, the GOP town council unanimously voted against the camp. Roxbury officials even publicly called out GOP Rep. Tom Kean Jr., saying he “did not engage to the level we had hoped.”
On Saturday, residents flooded the streets to reject the purchase and tell the federal government to get out.
William Angus, founder of No ICE Northern Jersey Alliance, said: “A lot of people were like ‘There’s nothing you can do.’ And I was like, ‘The hell with that.’” More than 1,000 people showed up on Saturday alone—two rallies, in one day—and they’re already planning the next one.
NOT IN MY COURT
“This court will not allow federal authorities to terrorize refugees,” Judge John Tunheim wrote on Friday in a 66-page decision that blocked the Trump regime from arresting 5,600 lawfully admitted refugees in Minnesota. Tunheim found “not a shred of evidence any of them posed a security risk.” None.
In converting his January restraining order into a full preliminary injunction, Tunheim asked: “Why subject them to warrantless arrests, place them in shackles, and transport them to distant detention facilities—facilities whose conditions likely resemble the refugee camps they once lived in ... Why?”
Kimberly Grano of the International Refugee Assistance Project said: “Minnesota refugees can now live their lives without fear that their own government will snatch them off the street and imprison them far from loved ones.”
The regime keeps building up this massive machine, but judges keep dismantling it. Just like we do to MAGA propaganda every single day.

Scott
I have two questions for you today.
Do you think the House or Senate will pass a War Powers resolution on Iran?
Thoughts on the Republican town council rejecting ICE?

If I’m gonna read about Trump’s war, this is what I wanna see! Very well done, Scott!
Oh Universe ! Keep up the good work for all of our sakes!
