THE POPE PUSHES BACK AGAIN
On Sunday night, Trump posted a long tirade, calling the first American Pope in history “WEAK on Crime” and “terrible for Foreign Policy.” Then, 46 minutes later, Trump posted an AI-generated image of himself as if he were Jesus—with a demonic horned figure in the background.
He deleted it the next morning, lying and saying he thought it was him as a doctor. He claimed he makes people a lot better. This coming from a guy who less than a year ago signed legislation cutting nearly 12 million Americans off their health insurance.
The backlash was immediate, and not just from the left. Bishop Robert Barron, who sits on Trump’s religious liberty commission, said Trump owed the Pope an apology. Marjorie Taylor Greene called it blasphemy.
Even Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni—once one of Trump’s greatest allies in Europe—said it was “unacceptable.” Trump responded by trashing her to an Italian newspaper before the journalist could ask a single question: “I thought she was brave, but I was wrong.”
Papacy expert Massimo Faggioli said: “Not even Hitler or Mussolini attacked the Pope so directly and publicly.”
The Pope didn’t flinch. While boarding his flight to Algeria, he said: “I have no fear of the Trump administration,” adding, “Too many people are suffering in the world today. Too many innocent people are being killed. And I think someone has to stand up and say there’s a better way.”
Trump picked a fight with the wrong pope.
RASKIN INTRODUCED THE BILL
Yesterday, Rep. Jamie Raskin introduced a bill to create an independent commission of experts that—alongside the VP—could remove an unfit president using the 25th Amendment.
Raskin was direct: “Public trust in Donald Trump’s ability to meet the duties of his office has dropped to unprecedented lows as he threatens to destroy entire civilizations ... aggressively insults the Pope of the Catholic Church and sends out artistic renderings online likening himself to Jesus Christ. We are at a dangerous precipice.”
Fifty House Democrats co-sponsored the bill the same day it dropped—and we’re launching a brand new campaign later today urging every member of Congress to support it.
JUDGE UNRAVELS THE COVER-UP
Federal agents killed two US citizens during the regime’s invasion of Minneapolis. One of them was Renee Good—killed by ICE officer Jonathan Ross. The regime’s response: seize the evidence, lock out state investigators, and open a probe into Renee Good’s wife—targeting the grieving widow instead of the killer. Seriously.
University of St. Thomas law professor Rachel Moran said: “They appear to be actively preventing the state from investigating.” That’s not just incompetence. That’s a cover up.
US District Judge Jeffrey Bryan isn’t having it. On April 9, he ordered the regime to hand over Ross’s personnel files, body camera footage, medical and psychological evaluations, and cell phone data. And they only have three weeks to do it.
Defense attorney Shauna Kieffer said: “This judge is effectively doing the investigation that the United States has turned its back on.”
Judge Bryan just busted open a door the regime’s been holding shut for months.
MAINE SAYS NO
The people of Maine keep saying no—and meaning it. In December, residents in Lewiston found out about a proposed $300 million AI data center with just six days’ notice. The developer demanded confidentiality from the city council, so meetings had been happening behind closed doors. When folks learned about an upcoming vote on the center, they got together and showed up in force.
The council, under heavy pressure from the crowd, voted it down unanimously.
A month earlier, the city of Wiscasset moved to quietly push through a $5 billion data center on public land after signing a nondisclosure agreement with the developer. People found out at the last minute, and pushed back hard—forcing the city to kill the project.
Councilor Scott Harriman said it plainly: “Developers need to stop planning these data centers in secret and then complaining about how much they’ve invested in the process once the public finally becomes aware of it and pushes back.”
Maine’s legislature took it even further. Last week, both chambers passed an 18-month moratorium on large data center construction.
We’ve been fighting Republicans for decades—there’s no way we’re stopping now.
This is our time. The midterms are coming. We’re going to flip Congress and end Trump’s chaos—but only if we work for it now, together. We have no ads, no corporate money, and no billionaires. Just readers like you. Help fuel the movement by becoming a paid subscriber today:

If you were a doctor or psychiatrist on Raskin’s commission, would you declare Trump mentally unfit to serve?
