Trump Reminds Us He’s the Biggest Traitor Ever

Congratulating Putin is sick and weird

Trump held a hate rally in Georgia Saturday and reminded us that he is the biggest traitor in US history. We didn’t need any more proof, but it’s always nice to keep things fresh.

Donald took the stage in Atlanta to fire off another rambling, hate-filled rant. He bashed Georgia’s highly popular Republican Governor, whined about how his crowd size was smaller than the VP’s, and shared his deranged thoughts about President Biden’s prisoner swap.

“I’d like to congratulate Vladimir Putin for having made yet another great deal. Did you see the deal we made?”

This was Trump’s response after years of intense diplomacy and an international effort spearheaded by Biden to secure the release of 24 detainees from Russian prisons, including journalist Evan Gershkovich and former Marine Paul Whelan.

There was no mention of the Americans who were released or the Biden Administration officials who made it possible.

It would’ve been easy for Trump to just say that he was happy the Americans are back home with their families. Instead, this monster Donald said “We got our people back, but boy we make some horrible, horrible deals.” 

This, after Trump once claimed Putin would free the prisoners for him personally, at no cost to the US, but only if he wins the election and is back in office. What a disgrace.

I want to know what Trump would have been willing to give up in order to secure the return of the wrongfully imprisoned Americans. Classified documents? Assisting Putin in his unjust war against Ukraine?

This is the kind of filth that should never be accepted by either party in American politics.

The treacherous garbage Donald is spewing is intensely personal to me, because I was one of the first Americans to investigate Trump’s Russian business ties in mid-2016. I revealed my findings on MSNBC, and to this day I have received countless threats on my life for it, including a thinly veiled threat made publicly via the Russian Embassy in the UK.

Trump’s shameful congratulations to Putin is a slap in the face to America. It's just another of the countless reasons why no one should vote for Trump ever. That’s why I’m doing everything I can to make sure this traitor never steps foot in the White House again.
