While Trump spends Labor Day being anti-union, I’m excited to share some great news with you today. Thanks for reading—let’s dive in.
PROTESTS TODAY
More than 1,000 protests are scheduled today all across America. Large crowds will be standing up to the Trump regime, and joining major unions for “Workers Over Billionaires” events. If you can’t attend one, please amplify stories, images, and videos on social media.
A LONG WALK FOR CHANGE
PA State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta is making a five-day, 105-mile trek to “demand immediate action on transit funding”—which is being blocked by Senate Republicans. Kenyatta said there are folks “literally walking right now because they’ve had their bus routes cut.”
I’m glad to see Kenyatta spotlighting this for his constituents, and folks all across Pennsylvania.
COMMON SENSE LEADERSHIP
While the Trump regime continues to go after blue states and cities, NY Gov. Kathy Hochul keeps showing what true leadership looks like. Hochul announced the expansion of a free-school-lunch program, which is estimated to save families $165 a month per child.
Hochul stated: “No kids go hungry and families save money. That's now the reality in schools across New York.”
“THEY’RE PICKING UP TRASH”
In an interview aired Sunday, MD Gov. Wes Moore defended calling Trump “President Bone Spurs.” Moore said: “Well, when [Trump] wants to attack my military record, as someone who is actually a decorated combat Veteran … if [Trump] wants to have a real debate about sacrifice for this country, he should really sit that debate out.”
When questioned about the National Guard helping local law enforcement, Moore said: “They’re picking up trash.” Moore called it “performative” and unsustainable—with the cost of the Guard deployment in DC costing around $1 million a day. Talk about waste, fraud, and abuse.
PRITZKER SLAMS TRUMP
On Face the Nation, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker blasted Trump’s threat of “invasion with US troops” in Chicago. Pritzker said: “We don't want troops on the streets of American cities. That's un-American.”
Pritzker continued, saying Trump “ought to know better ... He hasn’t read any books. He doesn’t seem to understand the Constitution.” And he never will.
RELEASE THE FILES
Dem Rep. Ro Khanna says he now has enough House members on board to force a vote on releasing the Epstein files.
And on Wednesday, survivors of Epstein’s abuse will hold a press conference on the steps of the Capitol. Khanna stated: “They will be saying clearly to the American public that they want the release of the Epstein files for full closure on this matter.”
The Trump regime and Mike Johnson have failed to bury the Epstein scandal—because we all kept the pressure on. I’ve been covering Trump’s Epstein ties for nearly a decade. I’m not letting it go now—nor are the survivors, the lawmakers, or the millions out there amplifying this fight.
