Trump’s Brain Is Broken: Three Resistance Wins and One Very Bad Easter Egg Roll For The Regime
The SAVE Act is dying, the regime loses big in court, and Trump once again proves his brain is broken
Hit the ❤️ like button and re-stack this right now. Seventeen attorneys general just beat the Trump regime in court. That story belongs everywhere.
Something is happening all across this country. Hundreds of thousands of Americans are contacting Congress—because we put a story in front of them, made them feel the stakes, and organized an easy way to do it. That’s not just an audience, it’s a force to be reckoned with.
We also run one of the largest resistance social media operations ever built—generating billions of monthly impressions powered by journalism the regime is desperate to drown out.
All of it is possible because we’re independent—no advertisers deciding what we can print, no billionaire controlling what we say, no corporate parent deciding something is too dangerous to publish. Just readers funding the fight—and right now, we need more of them. If that’s you, join us as a paid subscriber here:
COLLEGE STUDENT SCHOOLS LEAVITT
At a Turning Point USA event on April 2nd, a college student stood up and asked Trump Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt a simple question: “Is it worth it to risk millions of Americans from voting in order to prevent a few hundred cases of voter fraud?”
He backed up his question with the Heritage Foundation’s data—the conservative movement’s own preferred source. Leavitt had nothing. She called the question “frankly insulting.” When you can’t answer the question, you attack the person asking it.
The SAVE Act is Trump’s voter suppression bill—it would require proof of citizenship to register to vote and could block 21 million Americans from the ballot box.
GOP Sen. Mike Lee accidentally told the whole country what it’s actually about—posting a chart showing Democrats are favored to win the Senate in 2026 and writing: “Let’s turn this around—by passing SAVE America.” That’s not election integrity. That’s a confession.
Sen. Alex Padilla is California’s former Secretary of State and the Senate’s Ranking Democrat on elections. On March 26th, he stopped Republicans cold—defeating their biggest push yet to advance the SAVE Act. “Senate Democrats will fight this tooth and nail, day after day, night after night, for as long as it takes,” Padilla said.
The fight isn’t over, but right now Democrats are winning it.
TRUMP’S WAR ON THE AMERICAN FAMILY
Trump’s 2027 budget includes $1.5 trillion for the Pentagon—the largest military request in US history—paid for by eliminating $73 billion from everything else. Funding for schools and roads, gutted. Home heating assistance for six million low-income families, gone. The EPA, cut in half.
Dem Sen. Patty Murray came out swinging: “After sending prices skyrocketing with his stupid tariffs and reckless war, Trump is now proposing to eliminate programs that help families afford the basics.”
GOP Sen. Susan Collins called the cuts “unwarranted.” That’s Republican for “noted—now watch me do nothing about it.”
Congress already rejected cuts like these last year. They’re lining up to do it again—and every Democrat running in November just got another one of their closing arguments handed to them.
BIG LOSS FOR REGIME’S SURVEILLANCE STATE
Education Secretary Linda McMahon wanted seven years of student data from every university—race, sex, GPA, test scores on every applicant—in 120 days. Comply or lose your federal funding.
McMahon wasn’t going for transparency. It was surveillance—they would collect the race and score data, manufacture a disparity, and use it as a pretext to go after universities for admissions decisions that broke no law.
Seventeen Democratic attorneys general sued to stop it—they won. On Friday, a Bush-appointed federal judge blocked McMahon’s order from taking effect across 17 states—calling it “rushed and chaotic,” plus “arbitrary and capricious.”
New York AG Letitia James was clear: “Students should not have to live in fear that their personal data will be handed over to the federal government, just as schools should not have to scramble to produce years of sensitive information to satisfy an arbitrary and unlawful demand.”
The regime will appeal. Let them. They can carry “arbitrary, capricious, rushed, and chaotic” all the way to the Supreme Court. It doesn’t wash off.
IT’S GONE BEYOND A BROKEN BRAIN
On the morning of Easter Sunday, Trump posted a profanity-filled threat to commit war crimes, while mocking the Muslim faith.
The next day he was at the Easter Egg Roll where he ranted to confused children about Biden’s autopen while they stared at him blankly. He also called Americans who oppose his war “foolish.” Says the rotten-brained oaf.
His own former White House counsel Ty Cobb said he’s “clearly insane.” Sen. Bernie Sanders called it “the ravings of a dangerous and mentally unbalanced individual.” Former ally Marjorie Taylor Greene said Trump “has gone insane.” Sen. Chris Murphy said he is “completely, utterly unhinged.” Four completely different people. One verdict: Trump is unfit for office.
We have been here before, and we’ve beaten worse odds. We know how this ends—with a Congress that actually uses their power to stop him, investigate him, and hold every last one of his enablers accountable.
This is what we do. At the ballot box, in court, in Congress, everywhere.

Onward!
Scott
