Sherrill plugged the panel in herself. Renters have been told for years the climate bill wasn’t for them. This one is. Don’t let it get buried under the map fight.

Thank you Governor Sherrill for helping renters!💙💙💙

We own our townhouse. We have covenants. And I'm not sure where or how we could place one of those solar panels. But I want one! I think it's a great invention.

The Puerto Rico seats don’t even pay. They still had to sue to keep them. That’s how small the respect is—and how little it took for a judge to say no.

Love that. Let’s carry this energy for two more months!

How little it took for a judgment, yes. But I'm appalled at how long it took -- a year to reach an obvious determination. Something is wrong with such a system.

I wish to make a slight correction to this sentence: "That seat belongs to Andy Harris, the only Republican in Maryland’s congressional delegation."

That seat doesn't belong to Andy Harris. He is merely the current person holding that seat. The seat belongs to the people of Maryland. They get to choose who currently occupies it.

I stopped watching cable/network news in 1993.

We live in Laguna Beach and we evacuated due to a terrifying, wind driven fire that was caused by arson.

I was at a friend’s home in another city watching CNN and the reporter said (on live tv) “ I am in downtown Laguna Beach and there’s nothing left. The entire town has burned to the ground.”

The camera zoomed in and the road side sign said Point Magu, which is in a different county.

I felt Corporate news was simply sensationalism and fear driven and so that’s when I stopped watching🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s just awful and totally on par

I’m a critical thinker, so I’ve always been a skeptic of media. It’s like getting an estimate for a new roof … get 3 and pick the best qualified. Same with information. And, Scott you do it well!

Jersey in the house!! Sherrill ain’t playing and her approval rating is >50%!

It's high time some advantages went directly to renters. I am applauding the new "balcony" solar panels. Applause for Gov. Sherrill!

Thank you Scott. These stories of courage and resilience serve as vital examples for all.

SeekingReason's avatar

I agree George. We NEED good news and success stories. It’s been a long road!

SeekingReason's avatar

These successes really help us out Scott. Your reporting is very appreciated. Many people on social media have said, people around them used to have trump signs in their yards. Now there isn’t one in sight!

📰 I first started to realize that corporate media wasn’t telling the whole story when I started to read Scott’s The Dworkin Report! 💙 Thank you! 😊

I SAW THIS WHEN NBC DID A REPORT ON MIKE TYSON HITTING ANOTHER PLANE PASSENGER (WHO HAD BEEN HARRISSING HIM...(HOW DUMB IS THAT)! THEY ONLY REPORTED THE HITTING PART,,,,,,,,,NOT THE REASON BEHIND IT!! BOO HISS! YOU DO GOOD HERE! ALL CAPS CAUSE IT IS IMPORTANT, SO NOT JUST CABLE NEWS.

During the Depression, on those occasions when he could find a job, my father was a union advocate and invariably lost those jobs. But then the war came and everyone was patriotic (including the factory owners) and as he was working in a defense industry, forging airplane parts, and was getting good pay for it he no longer needed to 'lobby' for unions. After the war and during Labor's Golden Years, he ultimately became disillusioned with some unions and their tactics, but remained a basic supporter of them until he died. I am trying to carry on his legacy.

Corporate media has been omitting truth since the first trump lawsuits.. I stopped paying for network channels and relying on independent journalists. WAPO caved, cbs caved and the others are afraid. Walter Cronkite would not recognize journalism today, on my phone, I only have pro publica, associated press and BBC. AND then of course I get my political discussions right here🤔

Over the years I've become a big fan of the Guardian. I get both the US and UK editions. Pro Publica and the AP for sure!

Visiting Copenhagen and apologizing for our government. Today’s guide was 23 and explained that he now reads more US news than Danish news. He is concerned. I consider this trip a personal mission in diplomacy. We all have to be sure our allies know we still appreciate them.

My cards say: I came to your country to personally apologize for the actions and policies of my government. Please know that these actions do not represent the feelings or values of many American citizens who believe in kindness, empathy, and global cooperation. Many of us are working hard to change things.

Again, my apologies. Joan B (California). ❤️

When I presented him with a card, he laughed, asked for a hug, and said he was keeping it to show his parents. That’s the message we want to reverberate.
