We need a different speaker of the house. I can help it, when I think of those two, I think Fetterman and Haley Stevens. Jeffries took AIRPAC money. They should not be in charge. No compromises. I agree. I've signed petitions not to let Jeffries be Speaker of the House & Schumer not to be Majority Leader in the Senate. We need stronger people in both houses that are more trustworthy & don't make "backroom deals".
I worry about the regime destroying evidence across the board. Also worried about who the next majority leader would be. I’d love to see Stacy Abrams in the role. Schumer (my own Senator😞) and Jeffries are not visionaries and I feel democracy loses if they stay. Thank you for everything Scott.

Do other countries have such a long delay between when the election is held and the new people are sworn in. I believe the Jan. 6 and Jan. 20 dates were chosen was because of the difficulty of getting to the seat of government during the winter months. Isn't it time we changed this law.
It is frightening to think of what the Republicans can do.
On the other hand do you think they - the senators and representatives - try to use the time to distance themselves from Trump and his antics and instead think of what the voters want.

I want an active conversation about the electoral college. Take away changing the playing field by moving the voting districts. Every American vote needs to count! I want an investigation into Musk. I’m glad he lost a lot of money trying to buy elections but his interference into Ukraine communications is a war crime and he should not have ANY input to govt decisions. There’s only so much we can do but hopefully the Repugs have woken up to their trump induced cult. And I’d like the new Governor to restore the Maternal Mortality commission, release the data on maternal deaths since 2023 (huge increase) and reinstate abortion rights. Hold accountable these hospitals that let women suffer and die withholding standard medical treatment.
I want to see the War Powers act exercised to end the stupidity in the Middle East. I also want to see another bill on forcing the Epstein Files to be unredacted.
