Trump’s Deportation Plans Ruined, Dems Pick Up House Seat, and Fired Judges Speak Out Against The Regime
Plus, the GOP House caucus fractures as their majority shrinks
Every week the regime bets that the resistance is tired. Every week it’s wrong. This edition is proof.
Two fired judges just broke their silence about the regime—hit the ❤️ like button and re-stack this edition right now. Help this story punch through the MAGA propaganda machine.
ONE JUDGE. FOUR HOURS. DONE.
José Yugar-Cruz won his asylum case in January 2025. A federal judge ruled he couldn’t be sent back to his home country of Bolivia, where he had been tortured for refusing to help police officials run drugs.
Even after winning his case, the regime held him for eleven more months while looking for another country to send him to. That country was the Democratic Republic of Congo—a Central African nation he had never set foot in.
On Wednesday morning, ICE agents picked him up and told him where he was headed. By midday, his attorneys filed an emergency motion in federal court in Iowa. Less than four hours later, US District Judge Stephen Locher blocked the deportation entirely.
Getsy Hernandez of advocacy group Escucha Mi Voz Iowa didn’t mince words: “Deporting people to countries they’ve never lived in—with no support and with real danger—is putting their lives at risk, and it must end.”
The regime spent nearly a year coming up with a plan to deport Yugar-Cruz. It unraveled in hours.
PRESSLEY BREAKS THE GOP HOUSE
Rep. Ayanna Pressley has been leading the fight for over a year to extend Temporary Protected Status for 350,000 Haitian immigrants living and working legally in the US. The regime is dead set on deporting all of them.
On Thursday, the House voted 224-204 to pass Pressley’s bill to extend those protections for Haitians through 2029. Mike Johnson refused to let the bill come to the floor, so Pressley forced the vote using a discharge petition—a congressional procedure that bypasses GOP leadership entirely. Ten Republicans broke ranks. The regime couldn’t even hold its own caucus.
Pressley was direct: “This is a monumental victory in a long-fought battle to protect the safety, dignity, and humanity of our Haitian neighbors.”
The resistance just made the regime lose a vote on one of Trump’s signature issues. That’s what winning looks like.
JUDGES SPEAK OUT
Immigration judges work for the DOJ. The attorney general can remove them at will. Speaking out is a one-way door—and the regime has made sure everyone on the bench knows it. They’ve purged 113 judges so far. That’s one in seven of all immigration judges in the country.
Roopal Patel and Nina Froes were two of them. Both ruled against the regime in deportation cases and paid for it with their jobs. Both found out they had been fired mid-hearing, sitting on the bench when the email arrived. Then they did something judges almost never do—they spoke out.
Patel didn’t hold back: “I think, no matter how I ruled in that case, I would have been fired. This is part of this larger pattern of trying to reshape the bench to have people who are ready to enforce their mass deportation agenda.”
Froes drew the line: “It was a pressure I at least tried to actively resist. All people in the United States are entitled to due process, and everyone deserves to have their cases adjudicated fully and fairly.”
The regime tried to silence them. Instead, it started a conversation they can no longer control.
NEW JERSEY SHOWS REPUBLICANS WHAT’S COMING
Analilia Mejia is the daughter of a Dominican factory worker and a Colombian seamstress. On Thursday night, she won New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District by nearly 20 points. The AP called it only seven minutes after polls closed.
In 2024, former VP Kamala Harris carried this district by nine points—Mejia more than doubled that, despite Republicans spending half a million dollars calling her a socialist. “We did the impossible and we won,” Mejia told a packed room in Montclair when the results came in.
Mike Johnson’s majority just got one seat thinner. Republicans didn’t even try to spin it. “We got our butts kicked,” one party official said. November is coming.
This is what the resistance looks like when it’s working. It shows up—in courtrooms, state capitals, and at the ballot box—and it fights. We’ve been leading this charge since 2016—organizing, pressuring Congress, and building one of the largest resistance networks in the country.
Now we’re using everything we’ve built to flip the House and Senate. No billionaires fund this. No corporations. No ads. Just readers who decided this fight is worth funding. Be one of them:
