FACT CHECK: NO, TRUMP IS NOT “ABSOLVED”

Trump claims the Epstein files “absolve” him of any wrongdoing—even though he’s mentioned thousands of times in the documents. It’s one of the biggest lies Trump has ever told.

Newly released files paint a damning picture, suggesting that Trump was in contact with Epstein five years longer than he had originally claimed. There were also documents containing disturbing allegations against Trump, even as millions of pages have yet to be released.

It’s a clear cover-up. Trump could release the remaining files, but he refuses to do so.

We know why.

BIG UPSET IN TEXAS

On Saturday night, voters in Texas delivered a stunning upset: Democrat Taylor Rehmet won a special election in a state Senate district that Trump won by 17 points in 2024. Rehmet was outspent 20-to-1, while his Republican opponent had the backing of Trump, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, and others. Rehmet still won by more than 12 points.

This is another warning sign for MAGA, and a reminder that the midterm elections could be a complete disaster for them. I guess they shouldn’t have messed with Texas.

A SLIMMER GOP MAJORITY IN THE HOUSE

Also in Texas, Democrat Christian Menefee won a US House seat, cutting down the already slim majority for Trump’s puppet, Mike Johnson. Once he’s sworn in, Democrats will only need two Republican defections to stop any bill in its tracks.

At his victory party, Rep.-elect Menefee said this to Trump: “The results here tonight are a mandate for me to work as hard as I can to oppose your agenda, to fight back against where you’re taking this country, and to investigate your crimes.”

A LOUD BAD BUNNY

During his Grammy acceptance speech last night, Bad Bunny had a strong message for the Trump regime: “Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say, ICE out.” The crowd responded with a roaring standing ovation. He continued: “We’re not savage. We’re not animals. We’re not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans.”

JAMES WANTS STATES TO PUSH BACK ON ICE

New York Attorney General Letitia James is showing how states can resist the DOJ’s attempts to seize their voter data. When the DOJ demanded New York’s records, James refused to negotiate, calling it “nothing more than an attempt to get information that they would not otherwise get in court.”

James exposed how Trump is using ICE raids as leverage to force Minnesota to hand over their voter data: “This is nothing more than an attempt to extract … a change in [their] policies, and a change in how they operate.”
