Great News for the Resistance: Trump’s Approval Tanks, Kash and Kennedy Roasted In Congress, and More
Onward!
We’ve almost made it through another week of Trump’s madness, so I’m thankful to have some good news for you today.
But before we jump in—our daily news brief, Contact Congress campaign, and social media initiatives are made possible by our readers—no billionaires, no ads, and no nonsense. Just truth, action, and our amazing community. So if you haven’t yet, please join us as a paid subscriber today:
LONDON PROTEST
Yesterday, while Trump received the royal treatment at Windsor Castle, thousands of people demonstrated and marched through London. Thanks to our friends across the pond for showing up and speaking out!
LOWEST-RATED
I always take polls with a grain of salt, but a new Economist/YouGov survey shows Trump’s approval rating has dropped to 39%—the lowest of his second term. And his net approval rating on the economy has fallen to the lowest ever, at -22.
HHS WHISTLEBLOWERS
Former CDC Director Dr. Susan Monarez and former CDC Chief Medical Officer Dr. Debra Houry, testified in front of the Senate yesterday. Both were fired after they refused to blindly go along with Bob Kennedy’s reckless vaccine policies.
Dr. Monarez says Kennedy lied about her during his recent appearance in front of Congress, calling his statements “not accurate.” That’s a nice way to put it. And when it came to the regime’s recent changes to vaccine schedules for children, Dr. Monarez said Kennedy has no “data or science to point to.”
Meanwhile, Dr. Houry confirmed that during her time as one of the highest-ranking medical officials at the CDC, she was never given an opportunity to brief Bob Kennedy. When Dem Sen. Tammy Baldwin asked if it’s “harmful to the public” when he’s not “informed by experts,” Dr. Houry replied: “Very much so.”
Kennedy should just go ahead and resign. He’s somehow even more of a disaster than we ever expected.
KASH CRUMBLES
Kash Patel absolutely bombed while testifying in the House yesterday. Dem Rep. Jamie Raskin brought the fire, wondering how Patel went from “a crusader for accountability and transparency with the Epstein files, to being part of the conspiracy and coverup … you said it yourself—because of who is on that list.” Absolutely right.
Then, Dem Rep. Eric Swalwell got Patel to admit he hadn't reviewed all of the Epstein files—which sent Patel straight into one of his temper tantrums.
Swalwell then asked seven times if Patel ever told Pam Bondi that Trump was in the Epstein files. Patel tried desperately to deflect, and refused to answer.
Patel’s awful testimony in front of Congress this week is a great reminder that he’s not fit to run an Easy-Bake Oven, let alone the FBI.
CROCKETT CALLS OUT GOP
Dem Rep. Jasmine Crockett laid it out plainly when it comes to the GOP’s lies about violent rhetoric: “They cry ‘free speech’ when it’s hate, violence, and lies. But the second we tell the truth or call them out, suddenly we’ve gone too far. That, my friends, is what you call selective outrage.” So true.
OBAMA MAKES IT CLEAR
During an appearance in Pennsylvania this week, former President Barack Obama condemned the killing of Charlie Kirk, while adding that it’s still okay to debate Kirk’s arguments: “I can say that I disagree with the suggestion that my wife or Justice Jackson does not have adequate brain processing power.”
Obama also made it clear that extremist views “were not in my White House. I wasn’t embracing them. I wasn’t empowering them. I wasn’t putting the weight of the US government behind extremist views.”
The statement that stood out to me the most from Obama is: “We always have to fight for our democracy … I often say democracy is not self-executing. It depends on us as citizens, regardless of our political affiliations, to stand up for certain core values. Because, otherwise, we may not have them.”
Obama’s right. That’s why I’ve spent nearly a decade taking on Trump. Despite all the threats that come with this job—we still press on full speed ahead as we fight to preserve the core values of our democracy.
We deliver unfiltered daily news briefs, while running the most aggressive social media operation against Trump ever.

Obama is correct. We have to fight back, even when we might feel powerless. A great place to start is Boycotting Disney in all its manifestations. Cancel trips to Disney(land and world). Cancel bookings on Disney cruises and resort properties. Cancel subscriptions to Disney streaming streaming services. And boycott Disney cable and broadcast programming, particularly sporting events, like NFL and college football games. It may not bring an end to American fascism by itself, but at least you’ll save some money you may need and it will make them pay the price for caving in to fascism.
While you’re at it, if you haven’t already done so, drop subscription to Paramount, Amazon products (Prime, Video, and Music) and of course, don’t buy a tesla. Not even a used one.
