FACT CHECK: JOHNSON TELLS HUGE LIE

Yesterday, Speaker Mike Johnson told a huge lie when he stated: “They keep saying, ‘Republicans are in charge of government.’ We aren’t!” Wait, what? Republicans literally have control of the White House and Congress. This is some new level of quackery, even for Johnson.

And look at those “simple facts” on the board next to him—it’s just a bunch of blabber that means nothing. I still think Trump is the biggest liar on the planet, but Johnson’s coming in a close second.

BESHEAR BRINGS TRUTH TO MAHER

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, during an appearance on Bill Maher’s show, slammed Trump hard over his big evil bill.

When asked about how it would impact rural folks, Beshear replied: “It’s basically punching rural America in the face … it’s gonna devastate rural economies ... You close the local restaurant … coffee shop … local bank. It’s gonna profoundly impact America in really negative ways.”

“This is the worst piece of legislation in my lifetime,” Beshear added.

AN MRI? WHAT?

Yesterday, Trump admitted he had an MRI done three weeks ago during a visit to Walter Reed Medical Center. Trump acted like it was routine and called it “perfect,” but we all know that’s complete nonsense.

The public deserves answers on Trump’s failing health now more than ever—but of course the White House has been silent about all of this.

Trump also bragged about passing an IQ test. Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded, saying: “Out of curiosity, did those doctors ask you to draw a clock by any chance? Was that part hard for you, too? Asking for 340 million people.”

BIDEN SPEAKS OUT

On Sunday, former President Joe Biden was in Boston to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute.

During his speech, Biden said: “Friends, I can’t sugarcoat any of this. These are dark days.” Biden added that America as a country will “emerge as we always have—stronger, wiser and more resilient, more just—so long as we keep the faith.”

“All of us who are dismayed by the present state of the union, this is no time to give up,” Biden declared. “It’s time to get up. Get up now, get up.”
