Have you ever seen anyone in a military uniform that wasn’t perfectly groomed???!!!??? As a military brat we knew outside our home we were to be neatly groomed, hair, fingernails, clothing. What a colossal clusterf*** of waste, fraud and abuse.

This administration has spent $34B more than the Biden administration in 2023 and 2024 combined! And they just keep on wasting our tax$, abusing the system, and they are all frauds.

If this is accurate: "This administration has spent $34B more than the Biden administration in 2023 and 2024 combined!" then it needs to be major headlines in the news!!! Oh- but, that's fake news.

This was a couple months ago. Looking for it, found this which has this administration spending $200B more in the FIRST 100 days!!! What ever way you paint it, this administration is the worst in our history, bunch of incompetent, unintelligent, non-qualified greedy bastards that have made America a f’ing hell spot for everyone unless you are white and rich and bend over to the psychotic felonious maniac and his vile cretins. https://youtu.be/mUR8og6tPTw?si=ljS_b6WTiyIJqstO

If anyone looked at the faces of the military leaders at that meeting yesterday. You could see they were not happy.. how many millions of dollars were spent to drag them all to Quantico and leaving all of our military leaders away from their real jobs. No cheering, no applauding. Good for them.

It's a good thing our enemies did not take advantage of the huge national security risk that Hegseth and Trump's political stunt created yesterday, bringing in hundreds of the highest ranked military Generals and other military office to one place in the US, for a ridiculous lecture.

I learned yesterday that military personnel, especially the highest echelons are not usually inclined to applaud political speak because they’re supposed to be apolitical. The majority of them I hope saw and understood what a farce and ridiculous display yesterday was and their thought bubbles were saying WTF?!

I heard a few chuckles but mostly total silence.

Of course the 2 hyenas speaking were of the fraternity of bros in Govt and believe that being assbags is a sign of strength. I only hope the Brass in that room looked upon them as they would a cage of performing baboons at a zoo. Clowns!

This shutdown is on the Republicans! Whatever happens as a result of it is their fault.

As for that meeting between the military leaders and trump and Hegseth, it was a waste of millions of dollars and it accomplished nothing except to show how corrupt trump and Hegseth are. I am holding out hope that those military leaders will stand by their oaths to the Constitution and not be used as tools to further destroy this country.

We need to make it clear to the world that we are repudiating Trump and his Authoritarian regime. If you haven't already done so, please find a No Kings 2 protest near you (https://www.nokings.org/#map) and sign up. I had a text from the folks at Indivisible - we have officially surpassed the number of individual events for the first No Kings event in June. (last time, many events were added at the last minute).

Also, please invite some friends and encourage them to attend. See this post I made yesterday for some ideas on how YOU can help boost attendance:

The Military rant was so disrespectful and ridiculous. PH and DT made utter fools of themselves.

Regarding Mike Johnson refusing to swear in a newly elected official, how is that legal and isn't there a work around? How can he just refuse?

Lastly, can you address in future that if it was deemed illegal for National Guard to be sent to LA, wouldn't that be a roadblock in other cities? Is that litigation pending? One would hope that would foil DTs master plan to foment violence. Thank you for all that you do!!

⬆️Regarding Mike Johnson refusing to swear in a newly elected official, how is that legal and isn't there a work around? How can he just refuse?

It is totally legal because Rep. Grijalva has not yet been certified under AZ election rules. That will happen within the next several weeks.

It is also totally hypocritcal, because when two FL special US House elections (held on April 1, 2025) were won by GOP candidates decively (but by smaller margins because their Democratic opponents overperformed), Mike Johnson swore them in the very next day!!

Republicans have been responsible for every shut down since Clinton and Gingrich. Despite their best efforts to blame the Democrats, the voters see through the BS and put the blame right where it belongs - on the GOP. Also, release the Epstein files. Let's not forget that Trump shut down the government in his first term first over 30 days trying to get funding first his wall. I think trying to save health care for millions is a better reason.

This shutdown is entirely not necessary on many counts but is important to show what maga has done and continues to try to do which is make the orange clown their king.

Hegseth and trump are an embarrassment to the men and women who serve our country. When this is over they should both be put on a rubber lifeboat in the sargasso sea.
