NOBEL PEACE PRIZE

Earlier this morning, the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado—NOT Donald Trump.

The Nobel Committee’s statement said: “When authoritarians seize power, it is crucial to recognise courageous defenders of freedom who rise and resist ... people who refuse to stay silent, who dare to step forward despite grave risk, and who remind us that freedom must never be taken for granted, but must always be defended.”

Good. A petty dictator who is prosecuting his opposition, sending troops into US cities, and committing countless other acts of aggression, should never ever win it. Moving on.

LETITIA JAMES RESPONDS

After the Trump regime indicted Letitia James yesterday, she delivered a powerful response, stating: “These charges are baseless, and [Trump’s] ... actions are a grave violation of our Constitutional order.”

James said Trump’s pressure campaign on the DOJ to bring charges against her “is antithetical to the bedrock principles of our country.” She added: “This is nothing more than a continuation of [Trump’s] desperate weaponization of our justice system.” In closing, James said: “I am not fearful—I am fearless.”

CHICAGO SHOWS STRENGTH

Trump’s attempted invasion of Chicago is starting to backfire. On Wednesday, roughly 1,000 protesters marched through the streets.

Yesterday, a judge temporarily blocked Trump from deploying the National Guard in Illinois. And a separate judge restricted the use of force by federal agents in Chicago, and banned the wrongful arrests of journalists in the area.

TRUMP’S PROPAGANDA MACHINE EXPOSED

This week, during a roundtable about the regime’s imaginary enemy Antifa, Marco Rubio handed Trump a note. It asked Trump to “approve a social media post soon.”

This is more confirmation of what I’ve been saying for nearly a decade—Trump doesn’t write a lot of his social media posts—if any. But the few times he does, Trump apparently makes huge mistakes.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Trump’s post demanding that Pam Bondi prosecute his enemies was actually meant to be a direct message. It’s now become key evidence that undermines the cases against James Comey, Letitia James, and others. Whoops.

JOHNSON WRECKED ON C-SPAN

Mike Johnson must be a glutton for punishment, because he keeps showing his face in public. On C-SPAN yesterday, he was blasted by callers with reality checks.

One person stated: “Hearing you say that ‘everyone is smiling’ in the cities where … our Guard have been rolled into feels dystopian and insane.”

A Republican named Samantha hit Johnson hard: “I’m very disappointed in my party, and I’m very disappointed in you.” Samantha told him to pass legislation ensuring service members, including her husband, are paid during the shutdown. “The audacity of someone who makes six figures a year to do this to military families, is insane.”

That’s exactly right, and that’s the kind of fire we’ve brought to Trump and his accomplices every single day for nearly a decade. Now, it’s time to get even louder.
