Always so grateful for Scott’s deep dives into the court filings—the mainstream media completely misses these victories! Seeing 66,000 Virginians get their fundamental right to vote restored brings so much hope for November.

As for David Hearn, he deserves every single penny in compensation and a public apology from the DOJ for what they put him through. Thank you all for supporting this newsletter and making this critical reporting possible! ❤️

This is what happens when we stop relying on cable news and dig into the actual paper trail ourselves: the regime’s narratives fall completely apart.

A HUGE thanks to everyone reading, sharing, and funding this work—you are directly powering independent journalism that holds these people accountable every single day.

We won't stop pushing back. So keep sharing, keep fighting, and let’s keep holding their feet to the fire!

How much has tRump asked for in his various bogus claims of slander and defamation to institutions and persons? I'd say Hearn's lawyers should AT LEAST double or triple that amount in their slapback lawsuits. And YES, Ossoff will win bigly in Georgia.

David Hearn deserves whatever he & his legal team ask for.

Jon Ossoff is a warrior and will, rightfully, WIN his reelection!!!

Veronika Grimm-Matthews's avatar

Jon Ossoff is intelligent, fair minded, well educated, informed and indeed a warrior food the best causes in for his state and for the whole country! He should continue as a very competent Senator for the whole country!

The govt owes David Hearn an apology but it needs to come from trump himself and I don’t see that happening. Certainly his legal fees and compensation for anything that he had to give up to fight this legal battle.

It is my opinion that not only does the government owe David Hearn a boatload of money, but part of the settlement absolutely MUST include an apology from the orange toad in the White House and the sycophant Jeanine Pirro. It cannot be a 'hidden' apology either. There should be prime time coverage showing both of them offering an apology to David Hearn on tv and admitting they made a very careless mistake. If I were David Hearn, I would demand no less! They sought to vilify a three-time Olympian participant! That in itself is absolutely disgusting! I am not going to jinx Georgia! I hope with all of my heart that Sen. Ossoff will win in Georgia. We must do all we can to encourage people to vote and to talk about what Sen. Ossoff has done and will do for their state. Keep fighting, America! Stay strong and stay safe!

Peggy, I like what you did there. A "boatload" of money for the canoeist!

Peggy Freeman's avatar

Hahahahaha! Truly, Julie, that was just a happy accident!

But a good one, Peggy!

Gee, it seems to me DJT might even need to have a 'Presidential Correction' sign posted at the Reflection Pond, like he has had placed at the Smithsonian. :-)

💯 agree with one addition: Doug Burgman needs to get on his knees to make a public apology to David Hearn. Even after the DOJ dismissed the case, Dopey Doug came out against the decision, in order to save his own lying ass from being fired by Trump.

Joan Makurat's avatar

Hearn deserves an award from Drumpf and Pirro, too bad the government (us) will be paying it. When this regime ends, it will owe we the people billions in damages.

Great article thank you Scott !!

Read the report, write a letter, send it to your Congress person, then early VOTE!

Sam Jones's avatar

Yes 🙌

Hopefully, Florida's next governor will be democratic. And they can restore felons ability to vote, like spanberger, did

Sandy S's avatar

Yes! That sounds right to me!

The Gov't. owes Hearn big time. I hope he goes for the GOLD!

Sandy S's avatar

:-) Good one Barbara!!!

I like what I have read of Ossoff and I hope these numbers bode well for him. If Georgians are smart, they will choose him. If older voters hesitate, he can remind him of Republican plans for Medicare and Social Security, especially in light of the weekend’s news about Part D increases and the loss of negotiated drug prices.

Norm Eisen said in his interview on MSNOW, that they are looking at all options for David Hearn to be appropriately compensated. He could not say more than that at this point.

And bravo to Gov. Sherrill!

Hearn deserves a cut of trump's will. Enough to make Hearn wealthy , but not so much that trump gives away all his money before he dies. His money should come from trump, not our taxes

Love the independent reporting you offer. Totally recommend people join. Bought my husband a subscription, too. Now we have great dinner conversations with real info.

Great Idea Ellen! His and her Dworkin Report subscriptions! Perfect gift idea!!! :-)

It seems to me, if DJT doesn't stop calling David Hearn a vandal, DJT is going to owe him a good chunk of change! Maybe he could get E. Jean Carroll's lawyer Roberta (Robbie) Kaplan to help with that! :-)
