TRUMP LAUGHED AT

Trump was brutally mocked by world leaders at a summit in Copenhagen—for repeatedly mixing up the names of countries, and for claiming to end a conflict that never existed in the first place.

Albania’s Prime Minister was seen joking with French President Emmanuel Macron: “You should make an apology … you didn’t congratulate us on the peace deal that [Trump] made between Albania and Azerbaijan ... [Trump] worked very hard.”

We all know Trump’s brain failures are nothing new, but it’s good to see him ridiculed for them on the world stage.

NEWSOM GETS SERIOUS

CA Gov. Gavin Newsom brought down the hammer against Trump’s authoritarian pressure campaign to coerce California colleges into signing a “compact” of support for the regime.

In all caps, Newsom wrote: “If any California university signs … they’ll lose billions in state funding … instantly … California will not bankroll schools that sell out their students, professors, researchers, and surrender academic freedom.”

FACT CHECK: PORTLAND

The regime was exposed several times for lying about Portland, Oregon this week.

Dem Sen. Ron Wyden shared a video from one of the ICE facilities Trump said was “under siege,” with no protesters in sight. And Trump has been repeatedly slammed by local leaders for lying about the National Guard already being on the ground in Portland—they were not.

In a separate incident, reporters caught the Department of Homeland Security claiming more than 100 people “stormed” a federal building and “assaulted law enforcement.” But local news crews said the demonstration of fewer than 40 people “appeared largely non-violent,” with no proof of a riot.

These lies from the Trump regime are not just outrageous, they’re dangerous. And we’ll never stop calling them out for it.

ROBIN KELLY’S SHUTDOWN SLAM

Dem Rep. Robin Kelly—who has represented the Chicago area in Congress for over 12 years—let the Trump regime have it, for their constant attacks on Illinois.

“Trump is not slick; I see what he’s doing,” Kelly stated. “And I refuse to bend the knee to a bully in the White House.”

Kelly added: “He is targeting Black people during a government shutdown,” and “withholding 25,000 additional jobs and economic opportunity.” All while “Trump is making sure that his Mar-a-Lago-style ballroom in the White House continues right on schedule.” What an abomination.

JOHNSON CAUGHT LYING AGAIN

Speaker Mike Johnson’s press conference was cut off the air by MSNBC, after he once again lied about Obamacare subsidies. Host Ana Cabrera immediately set the record straight: “Just to make sure we don’t offer misleading information ... There is no access for undocumented immigrants to get Obamacare. That’s just the fact.”

JD Vance was also interrupted during one of his rants this week for a similar fact check—as he should be.

Republicans know this is a dirty, racist lie—but they keep telling it anyway. Which is why we’re pushing back against them louder than almost anyone else. Our three hashtags pinning the shutdown on Trump dominated the trends this week, generating more than a billion impressions.
