Trump’s Voter Purge Shut Down and 7 More Huge Wins From This Week
Great news that’s bad for Trump
There’s a scoreboard for the resistance that keeps count of our wins and Trump’s losses. I watch it for a living, and right now it’s a beautiful thing to look at.
Judges said no. A prison camp went dark. A buried study saw daylight. This is your proof that good people are landing big wins—hold onto it all weekend.
But before you read, hit the ❤️ like button up top and re-stack this post. Bad news travels fast thanks to Trump. The good news needs you to carry it.
And if you’re not a paid subscriber yet, here’s exactly what your money does: it pays for the reporting that digs these wins up, the pressure campaigns that move Congress, and the resistance organizing that will flip the House and Senate in November. Here’s the good news that’s bad for Trump.
1. A JUDGE BLOCKED TRUMP’S ELECTION POWER GRAB
US District Judge Denise Casper permanently struck down Trump’s executive order forcing proof-of-citizenship and mail-ballot rules on the states, ruling the president has no power over how elections are run. The regime reached for your ballot, and a judge slapped its hand away.
2. TRUMP’S MAIL-BALLOT PLOT BLOCKED
One day later, US District Judge Indira Talwani blocked Trump’s second election order. It tried to build a national voter list and let the Postal Service decide who gets a mail ballot. Two orders, two days, two judges, same answer.
3. THE VOTER-PURGE MACHINE GOT SHUT DOWN
In a third win for the right to vote this week, a judge ruled the regime broke privacy law by feeding Social Security data into a system built to flag “noncitizens” on the rolls—and shut it down. No more flagging citizens as foreigners or purging legal voters.
4. A JUDGE ENDED ICE’S COURTHOUSE AMBUSHES
US District Judge P. Casey Pitts ruled that ICE can no longer arrest immigrants the moment they step out of their court hearings—and made it stick nationwide. Now people can answer a summons, follow the law, and walk back out the front door.
5. THE SCIENCE THEY BURIED CAME OUT ANYWAY
The regime spiked a CDC study because it showed Covid vaccines work, so the scientists published it elsewhere. The findings they tried to bury are now out in the open for anyone to read.
6. EVERGLADES PRISON CAMP IS DONE
Florida’s brutal Everglades prison camp—the one Trump called a model for the rest of the country—shut down this week. Rep. Maxwell Frost wasn’t ready to celebrate: “The fight isn’t over. We need accountability for the billions of taxpayer dollars wasted, the abuse and harm inflicted on detainees.”
7. SPOKANE SLAMMED THE DOOR ON BIG TECH
A data center that would drink half a county’s power came courting a Spokane-area utility in secret, and when the people found out, they roared. The utility backed off, the City Council voted 6-1 for a yearlong ban, and Big Tech got sent home empty-handed.
8. THE FLU OUTBREAK FORCED HEGSETH’S HAND
For Pete Hegseth, reality beat the culture war. Two months after he scrapped the military’s 80-year-old flu shot rule, an outbreak sickened over 220 recruits at a Texas base. The Army, Navy, and Air Force quietly reinstated the shot.
8 wins. That’s not luck. That’s a movement, and you’re in it. So carry this into your weekend: we are winning. They need you to believe otherwise, but every line above proves them wrong.

Now if we can just keep our absolutely horrible Republican Supreme Court from f’ing everything up. I want legal experts to start publishing books calling out the destruction of democracy by this Supreme Court. Call out the Justices by name and their roles. They need to see how history is going to record their role in the destruction of democracy. That could get their attention as they face an early look at their destructive legacy.
