I’ve been in this fight since February 2016. I’ve watched this movement grow from a handful of people to a coalition that has sent millions of contacts to Congress, and generates billions of impressions every month on social media. The Dworkin Report now reaches more people every day than most newspapers.
There’s no corporation or billionaire boss behind anything we do. Just reader-funded journalism driving the resistance every day. We need all hands on deck to flip the House and Senate, so help fund our fight by becoming a paid subscriber today:
VETERANS SAY NO
Veterans across America are putting their freedom on the line to say no to Trump’s Iran war.
More than 60 Veterans were arrested inside the Cannon House Office Building rotunda in DC on Monday. It was organized by a coalition of Veterans groups including the Center on Conscience and War.
The Center’s Executive Director Mike Prysner, an Iraq War Veteran, put it plainly: “The war I was sent to senselessly claimed the lives of thousands of Americans and a million Iraqis. I have spent the last two decades wishing I could turn back the hands of time and refuse to go.”
Tyler Romero is a Navy Veteran who took part in the demonstration, speaking directly to those still in uniform: “There has never been a better time to reject those orders, and join a fight that matters.”
The Center is now counseling active-duty service members to file for conscientious objector status—a legal process that allows service members to refuse deployment on moral grounds. In a typical year the Center handles about 50 applications. Since Trump started this war, the number has surged by 1,000%.
ALEX JONES LOST BIG TIME
Eight years ago this month, the families of children killed at Sandy Hook Elementary filed a lawsuit against Alex Jones—the far-right conspiracy theorist behind InfoWars. Jones spent years telling his followers the massacre was a hoax.
Jones lost at trial. The judge ordered him to pay the families. He then tried to weasel out of it by declaring bankruptcy.
On Monday, America’s premier satirical news outlet The Onion struck a deal with the court-appointed bankruptcy administrator—backed by the families themselves—to take control of InfoWars.
Pending final approval from a Texas judge, The Onion has committed to purchasing everything outright. Every cent goes directly to paying the Sandy Hook families’ judgment—not to Jones. He owes them more than $1.5 billion in damages and has not paid a single dollar. Not one.
Attorney for the families Chris Mattei was direct: “When InfoWars finally goes dark, the machinery of lies that Jones built will become a force for social good.”
Onion CEO Ben Collins said it best: “Eight years, almost to the day, after the Sandy Hook parents first filed suit against Alex Jones, they’ll finally get some justice, and even some money.”
Alex Jones built his empire of dirt on lies. The families dismantled it with the truth.
CBP OFFICER CHARGED
Last October, CBP Officer Nicholas Rice grabbed 57-year-old Franci Stagi by the hair outside an ICE facility in Durango, Colorado. She had asked him if he was a good Christian. He put her in a chokehold and threw her down an embankment.
Rice was masked—he thought that was enough to hide his identity. It wasn’t. Multiple videos captured enough to link him to the crimes.
On Wednesday, District Attorney Sean Murray announced criminal charges against Rice—third-degree assault and criminal mischief. The charges follow a thorough probe by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. Rice’s court date is May 27.
The charges come days after Minnesota prosecutors issued a warrant for an ICE agent in an unrelated incident. This isn’t a fluke. States are finally holding the regime’s agents accountable. One at a time, on camera, in court.
THE PAPER LIVES ON
Pittsburgh came within three weeks of losing its 240-year-old daily newspaper—The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. It was set to print its final edition on May 3, until the Venetoulis Institute for Local Journalism bought it. They are the nonprofit behind the Pulitzer-winning Baltimore Banner. The paper lives.
Block Communications, the company that had run the paper for nearly a century, triggered the longest strike in modern newspaper history by gutting healthcare for their workers. A court reinstated the union’s contract. Block announced the closure anyway.
The regime wants corporate media owners selling out, local papers folding, and readers left with nothing but Fox News and other propaganda outlets. The Post-Gazette was supposed to die. A nonprofit built on reader investment saved it.
Trump counted on people quitting. No one in this edition did. Neither will we. The Dworkin Report investigates, publishes, and organizes readers to contact Congress millions of times since 2017, and drives billions of monthly impressions on social media. With no corporation or billionaire boss behind any of it.

Are you surprised Trump’s abusive agents are actually facing criminal charges?
If you took over InfoWars, what would you do with it first?
