🇨🇦🇨🇦 Wonderful interview. This is the future of US politics. The Republicans have gone way too far. People are ready. 🇨🇦🇨🇦

As a Texan, I’m so excited and proud to have James Talarico running for the Senate. I’ll be honored to do anything I can to help get him elected! We need his fighting spirit here in Texas! 🇨🇱

I pray he'll defeat Paxton and any other crooked Republicans that come up against him

They also have Colin Allred…What a tough choice!!

R Cyclone's avatar

Colin is great and we supported his last race. But we need the energy of a new candidate in this race. I would like to see Colin switch and run for governor.

Dare I dream?!

#ToughInTexas But agree. It would be amazing on several levels.

They are very different candidates. Both would serve us well. Allred is moderate. Talarico much more progressive.

R Cyclone's avatar

Policy wise there isn’t much difference in their positions.

I am a resident of Dallas, TX. James Talarico is an amazing candidate and I hopeful that he will energize the Democratic base and independents as well. His authenticity and willingness to go on shows like Joe Rogan and hold his own on progressive issues should help make this a competitive race.

Thx Scott, I normally hate everything that comes out of Texas but I’m starting to realize that the corrupt gov and AG have rigged their politics

My daughter lives in Texas and I’m terrified for her. I’m so grateful for James’ bid for the Senate.

We need more people like this running for office.🇺🇸

Following from Arizona, but VERY concerned about Texas and how the majority of the populace is not being represented by their State (and probably their local) representatives.

A righteous man and the potential of a great leader!

I would like to see a new brand of political leadership that mirrors James Talarico. When he said,”Blessed are those that mourn” I got the chills. Those of us who see and acknowledge the destructive forces of Trump and his administration are in deep mourning. However, I now see that our collective mourning is not negative. Rather, it is a positive. It means we have hearts so big with love that we mourn what we are losing; that which is being destroyed right before our very eyes. Our love of country is not hopeless love, but rather, hopeful. In that hope, we can collectively join together and change our communities and our country.

Benjamin Franklin, on September 18, 1787, the last day of the Constitutional Convention, was asked by Elizabeth Powel if we had a republic or a monarchy. Franklin’s reply was, “A Republic, if we are wise enough to keep it.”

I think the wisdom of James Talarico will help renew Texas, and in turn, help preserve this Republic— but only if Texans are wise enough to elect him.

I hate Paxton. He’s a miserable SOB.
