I totally agree with you. President Biden will still have the authority to immediately put an end to it. Additionally, I think there are many in the military who would like nothing more than to stomp on Trump and his followers.

Trump seems not to have the fire that he had going into 2020. He seems to have burned out. If he were at the top of his game he would still be a formidable foe to optimism and democracy.

I am old enough to remember that conservatives claimed to be a silent majority. I think they are wrong on both accounts and have been wrong for a very long time. The silent majority is blue and I hope that after decades of restraint is swelling and will wash away the anti-democratic, anti-worker, anti-DEI, racist, entitled reactionaries. trump calls for retribution, and he may just get it.

I was glad to hear NPR cover trump's latest anti-military comments, including the head of the VFW calling them 'asinine" and questioning his fitness for office. Did anyone else hear it covered anywhere besides MSNBC?
Faux “News” ignored it, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, NY Times, WaPo all covered it. I believe it will be turned into an ad and run in swing states now too.
In it he attacked the generals ( Kelly, Milley et al)and made the same remarks he had in the past. For those of us whose parents served during WW2 and or Korea , who may be alive, his attacks are on their sacrifices they made for world freedom.

That's why its tRump trouncing time. We must show him total defeat.
