I’m feeling something I haven’t felt in a long time: actual hope with a backbone. Voters asked for this. Now Wyden can go after Epstein’s bankers, Raskin walks in with years of receipts, and the people who acted untouchable are being told to lawyer up. We cannot waste this moment.
IMO Miller is truly the most evil & vile man in America. It’s why Trump keeps him on. If he can’t of think of a depraved & vengeful enough plan, he knows Miller will come through. So I believe Stephen Miller should be the 1st to be investigated and hopefully Impeached from power all Government work in America & beyond.
What I’m most proud of this season is the stubbornness. People got told for two years that nothing they did mattered, and they showed up anyway. I don’t want a victory lap that turns into a nap. I want that same refusal going into January.

The appointment of Stephen Miller as chief of staff shows how they're doubling down on trying to rule by fear. They should have already realized that's not actually working any more. I'm still angry that so many republicans have ignored or defied subpoenas without consequences. Or lied under oath without consequences. I still want to see trump sentenced and jailed for his 34 felony convictions. I want to see all these people in prison. And I'm fascinated to see how quickly folks are already jumping ship. They should be afraid.

Here’s the thing. There is no magic wand that will reduce prices (other than perhaps oil prices by ending the whole Iranian fiasco). There isn’t a silver bullet to make health care costs cheaper, maybe extending coverage, but not cheaper. There’s no wave of the hand that will simple way to make housing less expensive.

Congress can’t block or invalidate a presidential pardon of federal crimes, even a blanket one. But a pardon also doesn’t cover state charges, and it doesn’t stop Congress from issuing subpoenas or putting people under oath.
Once someone is pardoned for a federal crime, they generally can’t take the Fifth about that pardoned conduct. So oversight still has teeth, and states can still prosecute. We’ll keep digging into this.
Now we have to have strong leadership in the House and Senate. Jeffries and Schumer are not up to the job!!! They continue to cry for bipartisanship with the very people who have destroyed this country. THEY MUST BE REPLACED!!!!
I believe that Congress will inevitably be forced to impeach Trump. Instead of learning from his mistakes, he has already chosen to double down on every one. Expect more attacks on both immigrants and American citizens. Expect more blatant attempts to choke off speech. Expect more blundering assaults on Iran and our traditions allies. All.of this will be urged on by Vladimir Putin in the hope of hastening the collapse of America. Congress will have no choice but to impeach, because hearing alone cannot indict or convict, the DOJ will not indict and given the 2024 Immunity ruling, we are left with only the 25th and Impeachment. The former is even more difficult to implement than impeachment. So, we either investigate Trump while he destroys the world or we remove him.
Clearly a good percentage of Trump voters crossed over the side of justice and respect. It renews my faith in humanity - that one can right their wrongs and that the vote is the best way to do that. And as a postscript - I am so jazzed by the number of women elected to public office - no agenda just the ability to prioritize country over self.
