FIGHTING TRUMP’S WAR ON SCIENCE

Trump left the World Health Organization (WHO) to score points with his unhinged anti-vax base—endangering all of us. But Governors like JB Pritzker are fighting back. The state of Illinois now joins California in the WHO’s Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network, bypassing Trump’s sabotage of our disease early warning systems.

Pritzker laid down the law: “Trump has undermined science and weakened our nation’s ability to detect and respond to global health threats. I refuse to sit idly by and let that happen.”

Fifteen Democratic governors are also coordinating through the Governors Public Health Alliance. It’s a way to share data, protect vaccine access, and rebuild the outbreak prevention programs Trump dismantled.

Trump’s spreading debunked anti-science conspiracy theories and pushing McDonald’s as health food, while Democratic governors are actually saving lives.

EPSTEIN COVERUP UNRAVELS

Trump’s failing Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is facing bipartisan calls to resign after it was revealed he lied about his relationship with Epstein. At least nine countries are now investigating or pushing different leaders to resign over their own Epstein connections.

Yesterday, Dem Rep. Jamie Raskin reviewed some of the unredacted Epstein files at the DOJ. Raskin said he found emails that prove Trump lied about banning Epstein from Mar-a-Lago. Allegedly, Trump called Epstein “a guest” who “had never been asked to leave.”

Raskin then called out the scope of it all: “There’s no way you run a billion-dollar international child sex trafficking ring with just two people committing crimes, Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. No way. It doesn’t work like that.”

“The Department of Justice has been in coverup mode for many months and has been trying to sweep the entire thing under the rug,” Raskin added.

While other countries are demanding accountability for Epstein links, Trump is protecting himself, Lutnick, and others. That’s not leadership—it’s the biggest coverup in American history.

MOBILIZATION AGAINST ANOTHER TRUMP ATTACK

The Trump regime is trying to let a foreign mining company destroy Minnesota’s Boundary Waters. It’s one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in America. Republicans are using a sneaky move to erase protections that have kept mining away from the area for decades now.

If they win, a Chilean-owned company gets permission to mine near these protected lands, which would poison the water and destroy ecosystems in the area.

But environmentalists are ready to fight back. If it passes the Senate, lawyers aim to immediately block it in court to stop the mining permits from being issued. Groups like the Wilderness Society and Save the Boundary Waters are mobilizing thousands to resist.

The Boundary Waters have survived a number of previous mining attempts—and with organized resistance, it’ll survive Trump too.

ELECTION WIN MOMENTUM

Don’t let the GOP propaganda get to you—Democrats are winning in places they say we don’t even exist. In Louisiana’s House District 60, Chasity Verret Martinez just crushed her Republican opponent in a district Trump won by 13 points—a 37-point swing. Martinez was outspent 3-to-1, and she won by a landslide.

In Texas, the wins keep coming with Na’Cole Thompson winning the race for Leander Mayor with 57% of the vote, and Taylor Rehmet flipping a Texas Senate district by 14 points in a district Trump won by 17. Democrats also added a House seat back after Rep. Christian Menefee was sworn in last week.

Democrats held their supermajority in New York and won big in New Jersey, Virginia, and NYC. They also broke GOP supermajorities in Iowa and Mississippi, kept Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court, and flipped a Georgia House seat, among other wins.

This isn’t a fluke. It’s the result of sustained organizing, smart candidates who show up, and communities around the country rejecting MAGA extremism even in historically red places. Resistance has the momentum—we are organized, voting, and winning.

Every story today proves we’re not waiting for permission, or backup—and we’re sure as hell not giving up. Governors are bypassing Trump to save lives, some courts are actually protecting us, leaders are pushing back, and Democrats are winning elections. And when new threats emerge, we catch them early enough to stop them.
