FLOOD FEELS IT

GOP Rep. Mike Flood held another town hall in Lincoln, NE last night—and it did not go well for him. One attendee called out the hundreds of millions wasted on the Everglades concentration camp, and criticized ICE for “burning through” money.

Then, the crowd roared in approval when Flood was asked: “How much does it cost for fascism? How much do the taxpayers have to pay for a fascist country?”

WARREN CRUSHES IT

Dem Sen. Elizabeth Warren went on CNBC and destroyed David Faber, who kept trying to talk over her. Warren defended Dem nominee for NYC mayor Zohran Mamdani, stating: “What Zohran is saying is ‘I want people to be able to afford to live in NYC.’ That’s what keeps it a vibrant city.”

Faber interrupted, saying: “Nobody disagrees with that, Senator. But raising taxes in order to do it? Why is that the answer?” Warren sarcastically replied: “Oh my goodness! Oh dear! Are you worried that billionaires are going to go hungry?”

MESSING WITH TEXAS

Planes flew banners that read “MESS WITH TEXAS” over six state capitals yesterday. It’s a pressure campaign pushing Democrats to fight back against the TX GOP’s gerrymandering scheme.

CHICAGO-STYLE

After TX Dems left the state to block the GOP’s attempt to steal US House seats, Gov. Greg Abbott ordered their arrest. Some of them are in Illinois, where Gov. JB Pritzker vowed to “do everything we can to protect” them.

Pritzker added: “Donald Trump is trying to cheat the system in Texas, but these Democratic legislators refuse to let it happen without a fight. Their fight is our fight. I’m proud to stand side-by-side with them as they protect their constituents.” Good.

GLOVES OFF

Another group of TX Dems went to NY, where Gov. Kathy Hochul minced no words: “This is a war. We are at war. And that's why the gloves are off and I say, bring it on.” Hochul also said: “We're sick and tired of being pushed around,” and noted that everything is on the table—even disbanding the state’s redistricting commission.

ABBOTT IS FULL OF IT

At a press conference with Hochul, TX State Rep. Jolanda Jones called Abbott’s bluff to have Dem lawmakers arrested: “I'm a lawyer ... Respectfully, he's making up some s**t, okay? He has no legal mechanism. He's putting up smoke and mirrors.”

A new UMass Amherst poll shows 70% of Americans think Trump has handled his Epstein scandal poorly. While 63% say the Trump regime is hiding information.
