I just wanna say how much I enjoyed reading the comments yesterday. We have such an amazing community, and honestly, that’s what keeps me going every day.
I looked, and apparently Scott and I have been doing this every single day for 766 days straight. Not one day off, not one day without publishing a post. And we’re not stopping now. After a combined 45 years of doing this work, I can honestly say Scott and I have never been more fired up or determined.

It’s amazing how trump’s answers to questions about Americans and how we feel are little soundbites just *begging* to be put into a montage for a political ad for democrats.
It’s uncanny, really. It’s also amazing that he is still president. He’s like the abusive husband who is also a cop, so everything is stacked in his favor; and the country is like a battered wife, cowering in a closet wishing he’d leave the house.
Damned straight! I’m not a wife in real life but were I married to trump - (😂😂😂😂😂: these emojis came out on their own because the possibility of my marrying trump is not just zero, it’s a very, very large negative number) - I’d have reached that point in Jan 2025; but like an abuser who is also a cop, what we, the abused do (and most of us DO resist, hard!) is muted and twisted because trump’s surrounded by good ol’ boy enablers and fellow wifebeaters who have the power and mindset to cement the pattern of abuse and make it the norm.
The Burning Bed. That movie shows it plainly. The correlation between domestic violence and what this country is going through is obviously not completely one-to-one. But it’s there.
So grateful to independent journalists and reporters like you that dig out these stories, bring them to the light, and expose them so the citizens can rally and get action. Thank you!!
