Last night President Biden absolutely roasted Trump at the annual White House Correspondents’ Association dinner.
The last two weeks have been brutal for the Donald, as he falls asleep in the courtroom and cancels rallies because of a little rain. Meanwhile, Joe Biden has taken the gloves off and has been demolishing Trump on the campaign trail.
Trump never once attended a Correspondents’ Dinner while President, because he can’t connect with people the way that Joe Biden does. He must also realize that the joke is always on him.
The President delivered so many good lines last night, I think I’ll just let his words do the work. Here are my top 5 favorite:
“Sleepy Don. I kinda like that. I may use that again.”
“Yes, age is an issue. I’m a grown man. Running against a six-year-old.”
“Age is the only thing we have in common. My Vice President actually endorses me.”
“Donald has had a few rough days lately. You might call it Stormy weather.”
“Trump’s so desperate he started reading those Bibles he’s selling.”
All jokes aside, the President did have a somber note for the press and it’s one I think we should all take to heart. He said the media needs to “rise up to the seriousness of the moment.”
“Move past the horse race numbers and the gotcha moments and the distractions, the sideshows that have come to dominate and sensationalize our politics, and focus on what's actually at stake,” Biden said. “I think in your hearts, you know what's at stake.”
We definitely do know what’s at stake. And we’re not stopping now. We never will.

And there sits Faux News. The perpetuator of lies, bullshit, and distractions. This has to end. We can’t live with “news” telling lies.
Our President! You go Joe. Yes, the media needs to stop all of the headline-grabbing distracting 'news' and focus on saving our democracy. Start putting T on page 13, and put the articles about the good things President Biden has done, and is doing, on the front page, above the fold!
