They Stood Up During Trump’s Rallies
Last Wednesday in Chillicothe, Ohio, Trump was about five minutes into his speech when a comedian named Rob Potylo stood up and started singing. Potylo goes by Robby Roadsteamer, and his song, to the tune of “YMCA,” was about Trump flying on Jeffrey Epstein’s plane. The crowd booed and security escorted him out.
Trump couldn’t let this one go. He claimed someone paid Potylo $250 to protest, adding, “We have it traced now.” He never showed any proof of that.
Just two days later in Daytona Beach, Florida, three protesters cut Trump off in about eight minutes. He was clearly hot and bothered by it.
It’s happening everywhere he goes. In South Carolina, he was reportedly heckled at least nine times. In Mississippi, one protester told him exactly where he could shove his ballroom. In Youngstown, Ohio, a 29-year-old named Blake yelled “Fascist, fascist!”
Even when Trump has the stage, the microphone, and his cult, all it takes to rattle him is one person brave enough to stand up. Today, he’s going to find out how many millions of us did just that.

A Judge Threw Out Trump’s Epstein Lawsuit Again
On Saturday, a federal judge threw out Trump’s $10 billion lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal over its story about a birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein with Trump’s name on it. Judge Darrin Gayles threw it out once before in April, but let Trump try again.
He can still appeal, but this time Trump can’t refile it. “As with his first attempt, he has failed,” Gayles wrote.
The letter came from an album compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell, who was later convicted of helping Epstein traffic girls. Trump told the paper, “This is a fake thing,” and sued the day after the story ran.
Soon after, the House Oversight Committee subpoenaed the Epstein estate for the album. There’s an entry in it that looks exactly how the Journal described it.
Gayles said Trump’s lawsuit was “grasping at straws,” and that it lacks merit. The Journal has 30 days to ask the court to make Trump pay their legal bills.
Trump tried to use the courts to bury an Epstein story—he ended up losing—twice.

Nurses Kept Trump’s Agents Off Voters’ Doorsteps
On October 25, I reported on how nurses got a federal judge to stop DHS agents from knocking on doors to question people about voting in nine states until the polls close tonight. But Trump’s people didn’t give up. On October 27, DHS asked the Ninth Circuit to let it keep going.
Those agents were part of a “surge” DHS ordered on August 31. The appeals court said DHS’s own videos often show armed, masked agents questioning people at their homes.
At the October 29 hearing, the government’s own lawyer admitted he knew of no reason DHS couldn’t restart the investigations after Election Day. When a judge asked what would happen if DHS simply waited five days, he answered, “I can’t speak to the specifics.”
On Friday, a three-judge panel said no. They wrote that the government “cannot suffer harm” from an order that “merely ends an unlawful practice.” Then the full appeals court declined to rehear it. Puneet Maharaj, an executive with both nurses’ unions who sued, said the ruling “reinforces that all people should stand up to these desperate efforts.”
Trump sent armed agents to scare voters. Nurses took him to court, and they won.

Troy Jackson Knows What A Cord Costs
Last week, Sen. Susan Collins approved an ad paid for by the Senate Republicans’ campaign committee. In it, retired Maine sportscaster Bill Green says he knows “Troy Jackson. But we’re not talking about buying a cord of wood here.” Many took that as an insult to working-class Mainers.
Jackson is a logger from Allagash who went on to lead the Maine Senate. “Senator Collins, I think you are a little out of touch,” he wrote back. “This is about a cord of wood—and about Mainers struggling to afford to heat their homes this winter.” He added, “I know what it’s like to run out of fuel.”
At their final debate in Bangor last month, Jackson asked Collins, “Is it just me that you look down on, or is it working-class people overall?” Last week, a CNN poll had Jackson up 49 to 45. Collins has held this seat for nearly 30 years. She looked down on a logger, and now that logger just might take her job.

What are your predictions for tonight?

NEW: It’s Election Day, and some races won’t be called tonight. That’s not fraud. That’s what counting every ballot looks like.
Trump’s DOJ already tried to freeze Alaska’s count, and a federal judge threw it out. Let’s make sure Congress has our backs on the rest.
