My observations are that Charlie Kirk’s killer was apolitical and neither recruited, nor radicalized. The Discord app for group text, video, screen sharing, and discussions is used by gamers, not for politics. In Discord over 6 years, Tyler Robinson, an avid gamer, used the word Trump once in 2019, and the word Biden once in 2020. That is it, people. I call that apolitical. His friends said he never talked politics. Only games.
For political reasons, the Administration and the Republican Utah governor are trying very hard to paint Tyler Robinson into the left camp. The right needs that Reichstag Fire pivotal event, the root of their biases (plural).
Tyler Robinson had a grudge against homophobic Charlie Kirk. Tyler could not resolve that. Evidently Tyler Robinson’s mother said he had moved left recently. I think first, slightly to the left of Nick Fuentes, then that his mother and the Utah governor conflate bisexuality with the left.
Therein lies a problem. Many on the right are confused by God-given sexual orientations. Confused, they indiscriminately throw out chum. Bloody chum in the water brings sharks. Frenzied sharks will bite anything. That is not violence. What they bite brings to them emotionally soothing food.
There is a need for health social services to address those emotionally challenged individuals that strike out with gunshots. Instead of reaching out to help, some crazed individuals with megaphones torture them repeatedly with heteronormativity. Alex Jones. Charlie Kirk, et al.
That is not politics, that is abuse. Yes. This is systemic abuse and societal failure. Those are both fixable. Some do not want to fix. They want to exploit it to make money. I am disgusted by those making a living by bellowing insults in this type of torture chamber.
I love Tim Walz, he is my governor afterall; however, if as she reports, Kamala wanted Buttigieg for her running mate and did not choose him because she felt the country would not accept a Black woman and a gay man on the same ticket, then she made a mistake Democtrats make too often: failure to be bold and lead the country to the promised land.
She was right... and still is about people not accepting a black woman and a white gay man. It won't happen in my lifetime. If she was any bolder no telling how much more hate she would have gotten. Biden extended her security past 6 months after leaving office because he knew more hatful rhetoric and death threats would come her way.
I believe she was right. America did not accept an accomplished woman, let alone an accomplished woman of color, with a solid, articulate, decent white male as her running mate, so I do not see a difference in outcome had she chosen Mayor Pete.
She was correct, though. America’s political and social climate is most definitely not accepting of a woman, especially a woman of color, or a gay man, to be the their leaders. It’s ludicrous to me, but hell, they barely accept democrats as worthy of life. Smart people with innate qualities the mainstream denigrates won’t be elected to higher office, and even if they did get elected somehow, they would not be able to lead effectively because of rampant criticism and blocking. It’s a cynical point of view, I realize that, but the far right has manipulated and infected the messaging that the public consumes so incredibly and poisonously thoroughly, it’s how I’ve come to see things. The mainstream is not a critically minded crowd and sound bites have replaced genuine consideration; vilifying is easier than lifting up and this america has chosen meanness over thoughtfulness, evidence and empathy.
Love the rally in Indiana! Thank you Pete. I am boycotting watching ABC and I don’t have the Disney Channel and I sure won’t add it - ever!
Also yesterday I filed an informal complaint online with the FCC. I said the chair violated his oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution’s free speech and free press rights by encouraging, promoting or directing ABC to cancel Kimmel. Therefore, the Chair should immediately resign.
Happy Birthday, Veronica!! You deserve cheer!! You’ve seen America at its absolute finest and, unfortunately, its absolute worst. Embrace the community here! We love The Constitution and we’re what humanity can be when it is centered on love, not hate!
I didn’t see an appropriate complaint form at that address, all they have is “ tell your story” which is not a true complaint and won’t necessarily be responded to. If somebody can tell me what I’m missing and doing that complaint I’d welcome that. There is no appropriate category that I could find.
Yes- use the tell your story entry. They are asking for feedback. It is easy to use and gives you the opportunity to give them whatever feedback you want. I am not expecting a response. However, from what I’ve read, complaints to FCC is one of the most effective ways to voice opposition.
I am filing this informal complaint over what I believe to be inappropriate interference by Brendan Carr, Chairman of the FCC. When he took that position he would have taken an oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. In protecting the Constitution, that includes the fundamental articles upon which our country was founded and are critical to keep us a democracy and preclude us from living in/becoming an autocracy. Freedom of speech and freedom of the press are essential to us remaining a democracy. Based on reporting, including his own admissions and statements, it appears Mr. Carr was personally involved in some way in promoting, encouraging, influencing or requiring ABC/Disney to indefinitely suspend the Jimmy Kimmel show. That is directly violating free and protected speech and freedom of the press. In doing so, Mr. Carr has violated his oath to protect and defend the Constitution. He should resign immediately.
2 - I am already boycotting Disney and all related media, Paramount and all related media and I’ve always avoided social media except substack, if it qualifies. I’m left watching reruns of Murder She Wrote and Columbo.
3 - Acosta was likely an Epstein customer and/or got an inordinate amount of money.
Pete's the best spokesperson for Liberty and Justice and common sense that we have. I wish he would take his tour through Missouri, Iowa, the Dakotas, Montana, the places where soybeans are rotting in the bins due to orange idiot's insane tariffs on China, the world's biggest importer of US beans, and on everyone else. The only thing drump ever took from history is how to form a dictatorship, but Stephen Miller taught him the hateful talking points and rhetoric for that. As for Disney, they are one falling domino in a long line of sick corporate leaders and should be shut down. Michael Eisner is right. Acosta is as honorable as that puke Todd Blanche, drump's miniscule sycophant assistant Atty. General. What a pack of losers!!!
Thank you for today's news, Scott. In future times and maybe tomorrow the drump regime will be the butt of the darkest jabs of tragicomic art. Keep calling them out like you do! Jason Crow, please save our nation! My Uncle Gordon King was a paratrooper from the 101st Airborne Division and among the first 300 regular U.S. troops to land in Normandy at 3AM June 6th, 1944. He finished his service at Berchtesgaden in April 1945. His message from the beyond: remove orange hitler from power!
Right, Kathy, since my dad served as a crew member in a lead tank of the 3rd Armored "Spearhead" Division as they assaulted the German Army in Normandy, France, Belgium, and Germany's 'Siegfried Line'. I'm sure most any service member in the defeat of fascism would agree.
Well said!! I can think of a string of words more vile than “losers”, but this is a family show … 😏 (fascist, raping, evolutionarily stunted, shortsighted, inhuman, selfish, horrifically cruel, politically illiterate sycophants and demons… Hmm. So much for the “family show” statement. Oh well.)
Wis, as always I’m agreeing with you. However you do not have to watch reruns of Murder She Wrote and Colombo to have good entertainment! Check out Acorn and Brit Box, lots of good ones on those! And you can subscribe directly, you don’t have to go through anybody else such as Prime. Let me know if you want a list of shows on both of those, but especially Acorn, and I’ll direct message you.
Thanks, Pam! I’ll look into getting those and yes, a list of your fave shows would be cool! I forgot to mention Monty Python (I have all of those on dvd, too). I don’t *just* watch murder she wrote and Columbo, of course. I have heaps of dvds. Those two just happen to be the latest reruns I’ve been watching. Oh, and The Dick van Dyke Show. I love that one! The old shows make me a little sad, though - they remind me of the America I loved vs the one we exist in now. It’s very, very weird to me to actually FEAR my own government.
Dvd and Credomobile and radio. Check Credo out. It can replace everyone’s t-mobile (which we must boycott, too), and every month, credo donates to a progressive cause. Customers get three choices of nonprofits in different areas of need and we vote on which gets the donation.
(No, I don’t work for credo! I’ve just been with them since I made them my long distance company decades ago.)
First on my list: Jason crow! 🐦⬛. HCR highlighted his recent comments, ending her letter dated 9/19/2025 by quoting him: paratrooper leaders jump first; “I’m ready to jump.” Right behind you!!
Loved his statement. Anytime one of the retired military who’s got that much experience and credibility comes out and speaks so directly, it’s a good thing for everybody!
Disney has really stepped in it…because I just read an article by Barry Gander that discusses “beaming versus streaming”. The FCC cant control the internet and television is trending loss of viewers year after year. This whole thing is going to backfire in a big way.
When can we please be rid of these abhorrent people???
I have said on many occasions that I would love to see a Newsom/Buttigieg ticket in 2028! The two of them would be the best leaders for our country. I love the unflappable Mayor Pete! He never backs away from intimidation. He always speaks the truth and can back it up with data and evidence. I would vote for them any day of the week and twice on Sunday! I have already stopped streaming services with Disney and will continue to boycott them. My sister canceled her streaming services with them, too, and when they asked the reason, she said the unnecessary suspension of Jimmy Kimmel exercising his right to free speech. As far as Acosta is concerned, all I can say is follow the money. Super good news, today, Scott! I've been in Scotland and away from my laptop and phone for a little over a week! It was really great! So peaceful! I am back now and totally refreshed and ready to continue this fight! Keep fighting, America! Stay strong and stay safe!
Boycotting Disney great, but Paramount also, a biggie is ESPN. That’s where it will hurt. And look at Sinclair stations, they’re terrible too, plus our old nemesis, Fox. And see who is advertising on these shows, write to them too and tell them what you think. Hubble’s column yesterday had a great rundown on this whole subject of boycotting.
Cancelling ESPN is what will be a challenge for many, I suspect. Not me, as watching sports ain’t my thing, but sports rank up there with religion for a LOT of people on both sides of the fence.
I wore a Roy Cooper shirt to the grocery store and got 3 great unsolicited comments from people. One old, one young and one black. It gave me hope. Guess what my family is getting for Christmas!
3. Ah! Dear Alex Acosta! Bless his shriveled heart. Was it all worth it you slimy toad?!? That was the first major sign of complicity in the whole Epstein noh play
Justice for the Epstein Victims!! Please keep calling and writing your legislators!📲📲📲
“Acosta “essentially said he didn’t have faith in the victims, their stories and their ability to tell their own story and their own testimony, which is deeply disturbing to all of us sitting in there,” said Rep. Maxwell Frost during the break.
They said they also found it disturbing that, even in hindsight, Acosta would not admit that mistakes were made and was not apologetic about how his actions led to other victims being abused by Epstein.
“There was a clear lack of remorse,” said Rep. Suhas Subramanyam, a Democrat. “ … This is someone who should at least acknowledge that he made a mistake … his memory faded whenever we asked pointed questions.”
Trump tries to cancel comedians, and suddenly Pete Buttigieg has a rally that sounds like a punk concert. The crowd shouts “dictatorship, undemocratic, cheating”—basically writing Pete’s punchlines for him.
Then Jason Crow steps up. The guy jumped out of planes into war zones, and now he’s telling Trump, “I didn’t dodge bullets so you could muzzle Jimmy Kimmel.” When a Ranger calls you a cheater, you don’t need spin. You need a helmet.
And Disney? Trying to play both Mickey and Mussolini. You can’t build an empire on fairy dust, then fold the second the FCC growls. Every ride is now a metaphor—Space Mountain is authoritarian overreach, Haunted Mansion is corporate courage.
Pete is a true-blue Hoosier, and former mayor of South Bend. He is deeply respected throughout Indiana, and that respect has now spread across our country. He’s phenomenal!

I wonder how many Hallowe'en costumes of Kash Patel's face there will be or will that be too scary?
😅
Pete is the best communicator we have and Robert Garcia is an unrelenting force of nature. Comer, “wouldn’t trust him with a garage door opener”. 😄
Great line by Scott. I wouldn't trust Comer with a can opener. The manual kind
"You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending." - C.S. Lewis
Let’s do just that!
I like this a lot!! Great quote, Al!
That Pete event at the Indiana Statehouse is awesome to see.
Buttigieg is so good at this. And he gets better every day!
