Morning Scott! Loved all eight but the one that makes my day is seeing that Waltz is still the perpetual thorn in the regimes side. He “takes a lickin’ and keeps on ticking!” 💜 I’d love to see him in Washington but maybe he’s just too upstanding, forthright, and honest to be in that wasp’s nest. 🤷🏼♀️
Yep, he is one of those stoic, calm folks from Minnesota who cares about people, and just gets things done. Most of us are proud and grateful to have him in office. Drives the R's nuts. Keeps 'em flailing in the wind.
Walz is on the list I've been making of potential Democratic presidential candidates for 2028. If I need to feel better about the state of this country, I just look at that list.
Duke winning proves every single vote counts. What if those 97 people had stayed home, or say 98 had stayed home, different outcome. We have to get everybody to show up.
I would like to point out the Brandon Dukes victory to every voter in Texas who thinks that Dems cannot win there. They can. Dems MUST win in TX and all over the nation, or the billionaires will gain more bravado. Block them with your vote!
This is all great news; especially the take over the the school board. Where I taught we encouraged all scholars to speak their mind in a polite and intelligent way. This was just part of the social curriculum back then. During trump 1 upper grades organized a demonstration in the play ground when he came to talk at the Coast Guard Academy. Then they had a debrief and talked about what they learned preparing for this event. Free speech is a right!
Scott, all of your hard work along with Sam has brought so many people together to fight and it’s proving that when you fight you win!! So we will continue with you and take back Congress!!!
A Trump Plus-Eighteen Seat Went Blue. For this whole district, not just Pittsburgh but its rural suburbs to vote Blue, there must be a few dimmed light bulbs starting to glow again. Anyone know what tipped the scale?
That's one thing I'd like to see more of from candidates looking for funds -- not just the polls or the bad bad bad opposition but what the candidate is doing to pull this democracy all together with active citizenry!
Anyone foolish enough to tell me that "nothing ever changes" would already have got a piece of my mind. If they stuck around, however, I'd point to the voters in Archbald, PA; Sarasota, FL; and PA's 12th House District. Maybe I'd give a special nod to the latter, because that was one helluva swing.
