I reminded Senators Bernie Moreno and Jon Husted that their job is to protect the best interests of their constituents, not kowtow to the demands of a narcissistic and sociopathic president. We pay their salaries. History will judge them based on their actions. So far their records are abysmal.

Some days the fight feels pointless. This is not one of those days. Pressure works. Persistence pays off. Proud to be in this fight with all of you patriots! 🇺🇸 💪

Vivian Barro's avatar

Yes Ms Jonington: thank you I am also very proud of all of us the real patriots. We the people will triumph over this dark time in our government.

Me too in the heart of Texas! We’re being helped by so many people donating to our senate & governor’s races! We’re going to fight with everything we have & help everyone else to remove all the criminals killing innocent people & children.

Dee Papa's avatar

We the people of Florida must use our votes to remove the cruelty fueled hold the GOP currently exercises. Please vote everyone!

Todd Blanche symbolizes the very worst qualities of lawyers and thoroughly disgraces the profession. The thought that Donald Trump is trying to foist his personal criminal defense lawyer on the American people as the country's chief law enforcement attorney is revolting. The Senate needs to protect us from him.

Richard Waddell's avatar

Todd B. should say what he most admires about his boss and the way he

is fulfilling his role as president.

Maureen Hicks's avatar

Clarence Thomas and all other corrupt judges should be impeached.

Cass's avatar

Yes indeed. Clearly remember the day Thomas ruled on presidential immunity.

Richard Waddell's avatar

Impeached, pitted, and canned.

Off topic...but I gotta mention Epstein Files. NO accountability so far. A massive sex trafficking system, graves found in New Mexico, and many survivors who's lives have been forever affected. Massive crimes against women! And no accountability. We cannot let this disappear beneath all the rest of the corruption. What say you, Scott??

Patty Mooney's avatar

Did they find graves? I knew there was a kiln in the garage.... To have Epstein's best buddy as Commander in Chief is so ludicrous.

Warrior4Justice's avatar

Still not clear…but super suspicious. Sorry for my definitive comment. Here’s something: https://sourcenm.com/briefs/new-mexico-ag-torrez-says-feds-impeding-criminal-epstein-investigation/

If any part of this edition lit a fire under you, pass it on. Someone out there thinks we’re losing, and your share might be the thing that snaps them out of it.

Todd Blanche, Bessent, Hegseth, Bergum, Bondi, Rubio, RFK, Patel...the entire cabinet needs to be held accountable for the lies, thievery, and corruption. Take them down!

Joanne Steacie's avatar

So agree Anita and Maureen! Even though they think so, his corrupt cabinet and 6 Supreme Court stooges are NOT too big to fail. VOTE!

Can't forget about Pulte and the EPA guy who I can never keep track of his name

I am still angry about the fact that every single one of Drumpfs administration that have left, did so with a huge golden parachute. He is wreaking havoc on the government funds we have because of the tax payers that paid into it.

I am so happy the prison - er, detention center - is back to being in the hands of its rightful owners, the wildlife. Im kind of surprised the workers bolted that old airport sign back up! But I suppose the gators can look at it now and sigh in relief - humans invaded for too long and good riddance to that cruel, polluting, pointless killing jar the humans built to “contain” other humans.

A passionate and true piece, Wis!

Trump NEVER Paid the Federal Governments Share of Alligator Alcatraz So Florida Taxpayers Are On the Hook. How About Getting the Money So WE Don't Have to Pay for it.

Thank you Scott for the update! Thank you for your time, your integrity, and for your belief in democracy. Without your reporting and fight against this regime, we would be short of fantastic investigative journalism and reporting you do. Thank you. You always provide us with information to go the extra mile.

"It can never happen here, you are safe, this is a good country!" that is how good Americans greeted a young refugee. I really believed it and felt safe. Many years later, to my great horor, we have concentration camps, secret police, killing of innocent people. Where is my kind and safe America?

George Bishopric's avatar

Governor DeSantis stole almost $1 billion in Florida’s hurricane recovery funds, entirely paid by Florida’s taxpayer payers, to curry favor with Donald Trump for his own career advancement to fund a concentration camp

Mo Khan's avatar

Governor Katie Hobbs did the same slashing of medical debt in AZ

Casey Cameron's avatar

Where are the prisoners now who formerly occupied Alligator Alcatraz? That seems to be a huge hole in the story.

Julie's avatar

Agree, Casey. Very suspicious that they've just disappeared without a word about where they went. I just looked it up and it said they were sent to other concentration camps throughout the country or deported. Given how many were being taken out of ambulances in that place, I fear more died/were killed than actually deported or transferred. Will we ever know?

Exactly what I was thinking and wondering.........
