A recent post from a complaining fired ICE trainee re: his having to pay back the $50K he received to sign up put a wry smile on my face. I shouldn’t have basked in his pain but I couldn’t help myself. “Karma, buddy, karma,” was all I could think. Maybe people like him will learn to do a little research before taking an evil handout?
I felt good when Trump banned reporters from White House press, they stood together and did not cover his new helicopter pad, (probably illegal anyway) and some of China's visit.

I'm heartened by the ongoing court wins and applaud those judges with the ethics and courage to stand up to the onslaught of cases the DOJ continues to bring.
I recently went to a lecture about democracy around the globe that said most authoritarian leaders are actually really popular (like 80% favor ability) and then saw that Trump is possibly down in the 20s in favorability. That gave me hope that we are an exception and can bring ourselves back sooner (hopefully in a month!).
Yesterday, SCOTUS ruled that state can, but are not required, to provide vital voter information to the Federal government in their effort to purge illegal/non-citizens from the rolls, Washington state Secretary of State, Steve Hobbs, will not comply. Most states have systems in place already to purge illegal voters anyway.
Check your voter registration and VOTE FIRST DAY OF EARLY VOTING IN YOUR STATE. We will be voting on October 22nd in Delaware, dressed in BLUE. 🇺🇸💙💙💙💙🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
These lists that Scott and his team give us for the weekend make it feel like this is a battle we can win. The momentum needs to stay strong as the five weeks ahead will get tougher.
