Newsom Is Replacing Trump At UN Climate Summit, Chicago Pushes Back Against ICE, and Mike Johnson Runs A House Of Lies Covering Up The Epstein Files

CHICAGO PUSHES BACK

A protest was held Wednesday night following the arrest of a daycare worker in Chicago, IL. In what would have been unheard of a year ago, ICE decided to storm the facility and abduct the worker in front of children. It was beyond disturbing.

Dem Rep. Mike Quigley was one of many lawmakers who spoke at the rally, saying ICE had a “complete lack of humanity.” Quigley said the worker is a “trusted and loved member of the community—with a work permit, who has dedicated her life to caring for children.”

A judge overseeing the case has since blocked the Trump regime from deporting her, but federal agents should never be able to do this in the first place—especially with no warrant. I’m glad to see the pushback was immediate. Thank you to our amazing subscriber Patty for sharing her story from the protest with me.

“THERE IS NO SPEAKER JOHNSON”

This week, Dem Sen. Jacky Rosen of Nevada slammed Mike Johnson hard. A reporter began to ask: “What if Speaker Johnson,” before Rosen interrupted, saying: “There is no Speaker Johnson. There is Speaker Trump.”

Absolutely. Johnson has been nothing but an inept, pathological liar who wants to keep the shutdown going—and keep the Epstein files buried as long as possible.

SERIOUSLY, TRUMP?

This week, during an event in the Oval Office with healthcare executives, one attendee standing near the lectern passed out.

Trump stood awkwardly staring at the press, looking completely uninterested in the entire situation. Even though you can’t see his face in the image—because I covered it with a slice of pumpkin pie—it’s completely vacant.

I’m sure that in the coming days, Trump will claim that he saved the man’s life, but this is just another reminder of how unfit he is for the job.

UN CLIMATE SUMMIT

COP30, which is also known as the 2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference, is underway—and Trump won’t be attending. He’ll be glad he decided to skip it too, as several world leaders at the event are throwing shade his way.

Without saying Trump’s name, Brazil’s President Lula da Silva called out the “extremist forces that fabricate fake news and are condemning future generations to life on a planet altered forever by global warming.” While French President Emmanuel Macron stated: “climate misinformation today poses a threat to our democracies.”

Others were more direct, like Colombian President Gustavo Petro, who said: “Trump is against humankind.” And Chilean President Gabriel Boric blasted Trump for calling climate science a “hoax” and “con job,” stating: “That is a lie … We might have legitimate discussions about how to face these things, but we cannot deny them.”

NEWSOM INSTEAD OF TRUMP

Since Trump is refusing to participate in the COP30, CA Gov. Gavin Newsom is traveling to Brazil for the climate summit instead.

Newsom stated: “As [Trump] turns his back on people and the planet, California is inking global partnerships focused on creating jobs and cutting toxic pollution. The economic winners of the 21st century are those who build the clean energy future.”

Newsom is right. We deserve better than a lying climate change denier on the world stage. Which is why I’ve spent the last decade helping to lead the resistance, taking on Trump and his accomplices every step of the way.
