Give people their food stamps and in full! Not a single person in the richest country ever should go without food.

This admin has warned American stores that it's illegal to offer SNAP "victims" any form of discount on their purchases as the result of being denied funds by Trump.

Has the American government EVER forbidden a charitable act towards tens of millions of its own citizens before that is an instruction DIRECTLY FROM JESUS?!

"USDA Tells Grocery Stores They Can’t Give Discounts to People Hit by Trump’s Food Stamp Freeze

“Can’t follow the law when a judge says fund the program, but have to follow the rules exactly when they say don’t help poor people afford food,” one lawyer said."

This doesn't stop the millions of us from sending $5 to our local food pantry organizations and other non-gov't means of getting food to families that our current gov't regime is totally doing all they can to cause as much hardship as possible. They will then blame it all on Dems, right? I don't think the majority of us will fall for that again ...

Anna, I'd certainly like to think you're right.

But the GOP is the party that made it illegal to give water to those standing in line to vote (at least in Georgia), even when elderly and in the hot sun for hours. (And by a WILD coincidence, those most vulnerable election-line standers are generally Black and/or hispanic.)

It's going to take a hell-of-a-fight, but it's one that has to be done. And keeping in mind that we won't win every battle. There has to be ways around most of the blocks they put in our way; maybe making sure the 'Souls to the Polls' people have water to distribute to the people they are transporting to vote.

I'm sure tRump just standing there with a blank face may have been in small part due to his Malignant Narcissism but, I look at his blank stare and blank posture and all I can see is his advancing dementia. When the meeting didn't go as scripted, he had no mechanism for processing the change. He is pretty far gone down the road to the Memory Care Unit.

Gov. Newsom is exactly the right governor for the State of California at this time. This state has successfully worked hard through the years to clean up the air and water! Gov. Newsom is continuing this legacy. His going to the UN Climate Summit is absolutely appropriate and is a great way to give the finger to Trump and his troop of climate deniers.

What a great way to start the day, Scott! Thank you! I am thrilled that world leaders on Climate Change are calling out trump for his ignorance in denying the effects of climate change and the need to do what we can to lessen the impact the we as the world’s inhabitants have on this threat! I hope that they keep it up. I am glad that Governor Newsom is attending the conference since trump refused to attend.

I am not surprised at Trump’s lack of interest in that gentleman who fainted in the Oval Office. He does not care about anyone but himself and he made that very clear by his obvious disinterest.

Great report today Scott! 😃

I’ve seen THE pic both with and without pie (pie’s better for sure) but here’s the issue for me. That’s the blank stare that many of us have seen on friends and family members who are in the throes of dementia. It’s the stare of Aunt Betty when the dog does his business on the floor and she stares uncomprehending at the mess while the rest of the family gently removes her from the room shaking their heads. Someone, please, remove him from the room!

I’m glad someone with intelligence and integrity is sitting in for pumpkin pie head at COP30! Thanks Governor Newsom! ❤️🤍💙
