But the GOP is the party that made it illegal to give water to those standing in line to vote (at least in Georgia), even when elderly and in the hot sun for hours. (And by a WILD coincidence, those most vulnerable election-line standers are generally Black and/or hispanic.)
It's going to take a hell-of-a-fight, but it's one that has to be done. And keeping in mind that we won't win every battle. There has to be ways around most of the blocks they put in our way; maybe making sure the 'Souls to the Polls' people have water to distribute to the people they are transporting to vote.

Gov. Newsom is exactly the right governor for the State of California at this time. This state has successfully worked hard through the years to clean up the air and water! Gov. Newsom is continuing this legacy. His going to the UN Climate Summit is absolutely appropriate and is a great way to give the finger to Trump and his troop of climate deniers.
Trump absolutely should be slammed for his stubborn denial on climate change. But he should also be arrested the next time he leaves the country for blowing up random people in the Caribbean. If no one in this country will touch him, maybe someone with some ethics will.
