Jean Carroll case, in my opinion, is the most significant of all the wins, because DJT is actually being held accountable for something. Happy Independence Day

Unfortunately I believe corrupt SCOTUS will take the $85 million dollar fine and rule it out, stating when he defamed her he was president and has immunity. They will torture "presidential acts" saying it is bad for national security to have a sitting president be held out to the world as a defamer. I hope I am wrong, but the majority is so corrupt I wouldn't put it past them.
I wouldn't put anything passed SCOTUS. Though, I will have to go back and review when the $83M was tacked on. I was thinking it happened because of his continued verbal assaults after the original ruling. He was not president then.

Unfortunately, it seems MASSACHUSETTS fails to spray larvicide early after a wet spring and then experiences a PUBLIC HEALTH issue and uses an ENDOCRINE INHIBITOR that kills EVERYTHING including dragonflies, bats, bees....last year, before spraying we had a spectacular display!
RI doesn't seem to have a set policy, but my small farm is off limits to spraying, says me. The local beekeeper appreciates the unmowed lawn and natural wildflowers.
I have to admit, that the SCOTUS upheld the 14th Amendment is good, sure - but how did this ever - EVER - even come up? How is there any question and why need a decision at all??? Plus, shockingly, it was a 5-4 vote, wasn’t it? So 4 Justices who swore to uphold the Constitution voted to rip it up? Isn’t that impeachable?
I’ve been depressed about the SCOTUS decisions this week. They barely upheld the 14th Amendment - a core piece of American identity and ideology - and then simultaneously gave so much power to the president to fire anyone he wants, we really need to rethink the name of that position. “King” has truly become a way more apt word than “president”. He’s not presiding, he’s ruling. Terribly.
