Colorado is about to experience a serious drought. Our snow pack is at historic lows. Water usage is already being restricted. It's going to get much worse.
Data Centers are really bad for the environment. They use up tremendous amounts of clean drinking water. Because data centers have to use electricity to produce the data. I am relieved that ordinary people are paying attention to these threats to our environment and our survival.
It's scary how the techbros can develope a product without giving a thought to how it could impact the environment or humanity itself.
So true, Carol. It's scary. And again, I don't understand their end game. If they take and take from the environment, make things so expensive no one can afford to live, can't afford what they are selling, what then? Where are they going to go? Mars? God, they should go now!

Be sure and spread the word! The earlier attempts at boycotts (for Black Friday through Cyber Monday) were not well enough publicized IMO. It didn't help that there was a narrow targeted boycott (that Indivisible was promoting) and a "Boycott everything" during an overlapping time frame.
