It's frightening and very wrong that only 100 Senators and 435 Representatives in Congress, hold the fate of 340 million People in this country along with the rest of the world's population, in their hands. BIG money controls our government, it controls our economy and it's trying desperately to control us.

As we get closer to November, I am getting more and more nervous. I have to believe we can take out these people, but I know that this regime will cheat to get their way. The Dems have to stand firm and not be distracted.
My husband has been a union member, acting as a union steward for many years. Admittedly, when we first got together over 40 years ago, I was not a huge fan of unions. As a young couple, I was not thrilled that union dues were automatically deducted from his paycheck on a weekly basis --- money that we could use to pay bills. However, I now am a huge supporter of unions as I have seen the tremendous value of union representation against greedy corporations who abuse their workers to benefit their botton line. People Over Corporations!! ✊️✊️
A few days ago the NRCC called me asking for money to fight the "lying media". It said I could have then mot call again. I said nothing, thinking..."If they spend time and money talking to me... better than
actually getting a Trumper on the line,,, fine for me.
This morning I got a desperate sounding man asking if he could keep sending me information about
the Republicans. I said "Fine" with the same goal in mind.
On other occasions I have berated them but now my goal it to make them waste time and money on calling me. It's not a lot but it cheered me up a bit.
AND KUDOS to the union members. As I was growing up there was sort of a look down on unions.
But I've learned how necessary they are to fight the corporations. When you see CEOs leaving office with really Golden Parachutes of millions ... you have to know there is a great deal of profits being
made by workers. I hope Amazon gets the union they want. At the Met Gala last May they were standing outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art saying Amazon didn't allow them bathroom breaks.
Corporations have to realize they must treat their workers fairly and humanly..
Do you follow Heather Cox Richardson? We should all send copies of her letter for yesterday to Congress, the Cabinet, and SCOTUS...remind them what living under a Constitution looks like.
I feel good about the way the polls are shifting but I don’t dare take anything for granted. I hope we have a blowout in 85 days because I want all the grifting, the illegal pardons, monuments we don’t want or need TO STOP!
Polls are of varying quality but they can tell us a direction, but never let up. We must vote like Hungarians, 77 %%! overwhelming numbers of votes can defeat cheating.
