Impeaching Roberts and Charging Thomas with Felony Tax Fraud in Virginia can happen soon if we stand tall together & RESIST, DEFY, & PERSIST!

P.S. - As my dad, who was a WW II veteran, used to tell me: "DON'T LET THE BASTARDS WEAR YOU DOWN!" They stopped the fascists in the 40's & we'll stop the neo-Nazi-trumpians soon!

Firing Scott Pelley is a stupid move on biltons part. Scott will better and stronger for speaking out. I gave up cbs when ellison bought it. Never going to watch again. No need to.

I’m old enough to fondly remember Walter Cronkite delivering the news every night. What do I do for news now? I read Substack, especially your column, Scott! Thank you.

Slowly, enough people are waking up and voicing their dislike of the open corruption, to the point that even the cowards of the pedo protecting party have criticized the goon slush fund. Yes, the momentum has shifted, finally.

Sam Jones's avatar

I’ve never been more optimistic about the resistance

Elizabeth Suzuki's avatar

I think Trump cares less about the slush fund than he does about the protection for any future audits or investigations into his personal, family, and company business. And that part of the "settlement" remains. The slush fund is the red herring - he still wins

Patti Scott's avatar

I can’t imagine that will stand up in court. Nothing says guilty more than when your personal lawyer says you can never be investigated!

Sandy S's avatar

Or when a Federal Judge says there is no basis for the case or the solution!! No way you get to say the IRS can't look at your income.

From the conservative Cato Institute…

“The former judges want the court to invoke Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 60, which would allow Judge Williams to set aside her prior order in certain extraordinary circumstances, including fraud. Here, the alleged fraud is concealment of the immunity provision that was signed by Todd Blanche but not disclosed until Judge Williams had already dismissed the case.”

Agreed. I’ve been thinking the same thing.

Every morning I turn to Minnesota Public Radio and NPR for news based on fact. Then I go to the Guardian, the Minnesota Star Tribune, followed by Substack with the Dworkin Report and Paul Krugman. By the way, trump may have surrendered his slush fund, but he retains the deal's injunction on the IRS probling his or his family's taxes now and in perpetuity.

Mike Hammer's avatar

Great reporting as always, Scott.

Colleen Devine's avatar

Scott - i am grateful you saw this coming and proactively built an information structure that is busting through the bullshit. I will keep seeking more subscriptions for the Dworkin Report. Onward👏🏻👏🏻

What about the irs deal with trump on audits for the family?

Ms Jonington's avatar

All of these wins and heroes standing up give me hope. And also a little excitement about the fact that we might actually get out of this madness!

Jane Ward's avatar

I’ll turn to The Dworkin Report. Thank you, Scott.

If Walter Cronkite was still reporting the news for CBS, Bari Weiss would fire him too. Reason, he is too trusted by Americans and too Truthful!

Sandy S's avatar

You can be sure that CBS will not be doing any commemorations of Walter Cronkite under the current ownership. Would love to see PBS do one!!!

Linda's avatar

Things are turning against him. The slush fund has been dropped but not (yet) the immunity to the trumps. This must be stopped as well!

Pam Birkenfeld's avatar

Don’t think for a minute that the slush fund is gone for good.

J Glaspie's avatar

I concur, particularly since Todd Blanche refuses to put it in writing. Why?
