NEW: Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have announced the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Center Moratorium Act, legislation that would enact a reasonable pause to the development of AI to ensure the safety of humanity.

Governor Spanberger, Bernie Sanders, and AOC brand: the competent practice of politics.

Dissembler Don's brand: a (thankfully) child-like incompetence while committing political malpractice.

At least 3 continents have rejected him. The world is watching and they’re done. So are we.

What must it feel like to be rejected by continents.

Sam, what an extraordinary phrase!

My groceries are about $50 a bag — and this is healthy eating, not junk food! What is irritating, however, is the size of the package is smaller for the same price! No one is talking about shrinkflation but they should be! Everything is smaller, from packages of bacon to cereal to boxes of crackers. So while the cost is deceptively seeming to increase slowly, what we’re buying with the same price is becoming less and less!

100% All paper good too.

The weird and almost comical thing I have noticed in all my years of shopping is the jedi mind tricks with the packaging and pricing. They think we are fools! Sorry guys! But when you place a 1/2 pound of butter in a package way over there with a lesser price then a usual pound of butter but, um, still the same outrageous price, and even more, if you do the math, only the sticks are long and skinny and do not fit in my butter dish after all these years! Lol! The cereal boxes are so thin, flimsy, and tall, they collapse when you try to pour a bowl of cereal and don't fit in the cupboard because they are too tall. The bag of oranges are camouflaged in this orange netting and when you take them out they are green and half rotten on some sides. So, the consumer won't notice? Yeah! Right? Not buying some items anymore ought to give these corporations dummies a clue.

Trump’s Brand Is Collapsing, His Poll Numbers…

Words we have been longing to hear! Thanks, Scott.

I love how easy it is to always be able to say what the resistance has done for me lately.

Can’t imagine how hard that must be for Trump supporters. Sorry not sorry.

Linnea Volkmar's avatar

I wonder when mean and nasty will just fade away? Trumpers are so rude.

Thanks for the good news, Scott. I’m smiling “ear to ear” as my mom would say!

Thank you, Scott, for providing an excellent to-do list. It takes a village.

Firstly, the Nebraska Hail Mary was a winner! Congrats to the team that beat the GOP at the ballot box. Groceries???? EVERYTHING is more expensive. I've been trying to buy locally but some things like cleaning supplies, paper towels and toilet paper I buy at Costco (which is better than some of the other big box stores. Ho hum...we are doing without some of the pricier items just because I think it is best to conserve right now.

I love the news about collapsing poll numbers and clever maneuvers to get the right leaders on the ballot. But I’m very concerned about the lack of righteous anger around the demise of the Voting Rights Act. Where’s the energy for that? “If they come for me in the morning, they’ll come for you in the evening”. The stealing of votes affects us all. Poll numbers and names on ballots won’t matter if free and fair ballot access is denied.

LEJ's avatar

Agreed! Plus I do not understand the Dems being so compliant about redistricting. So the voters voted for it in Virginia, their completely slanted Supreme Court said, 'no, you can't do that." And Dems just rolled over and said, ok, we won't do it. NO - JUST DO IT! That's what the GOP is doing in state after state. Yes, it's illegal. If they are cheating, Dems have to cheat back. Yes, it's revolting, but if we don't, they will completely overwhelm Dems in the midterms and cement Fascism. There will never be another real election if they 'pad' Congress with extra seats.

Joanne Steacie's avatar

Right too. LEJ, Republicans think they can do what they want and anyone else has to abide by the rules. Ridiculous. We have to "clap back". They set the tone and inspite of what they think and say, they can't have it both ways. They "threw down the gaunlet" regarding redistricing, so we have to pick it up. I think they stupidly thought Democrats wouldn't because they have backed down so much like with J6.

I totally agree! Although it was couched as anti-black voting rights it is also anti-Democrats voting rights! SCOTUS should have NOTHING to do with our Votes!!! We really NEED SCOTUS reform!

Funny thing, Scott - I’m literally on the road from CO to NE for my granddaughter’s graduation!!! I-80 straight across! I’ve supported Dan last go round and now again! I have to say, as a disappointed Dem ( I first registered as a Dem in 1972) I like we are seeing progressive Dems and Independents winning all across the country! Thx for covering 🙏🏽

The felon's pole numbers are crashing. Everything he touches turns to shit but he continues to rip us off and the GOP does nothing. His corrupt family and grifting is in full display and the GOP does nothing. WTF.

My brand of coffee jumped from 9.99 to 18.99! And it’s just Folgers!

Colleen Wetteland's avatar

I drink Folgers too and it is actually on sale this week for $9.99 but I remember it being $5.99 before he did the Columbia tariff! Ass hole!

Cass's avatar

Oh no.That's nuts. Practically need a loan for olive oil here. Lucky you, brand name coffee. I used to grind beans and French press my coffee. Those were the days. ☕️
