For you, 108 protest signs for the fight. This is for Occupied D.C. Many signs are revised to sing. 🎶. I recommend using a local printer, but national print companies offer great pricing, shipping included. There is time to get the lot printed for your protest group, assuming you have a gathering of 300 to 1,000. This would help fill the hands of the signless.

Thanks again, Scott, for the good news & the Congressional links. Could I suggest one on dusting off the bipartisan bill on putting sanctions on Russia? Someone said it's all ready in the Senate. It's had enough votes for awhile. I'm sure Representatives Massie & Bacon would sign it in the House. Perhaps we have enough votes in the House? Trump keeps saying he'll put the sanctions on. Maybe dangle the carrot of getting a Nobel Peace Prize?

Great to hear some Alaskans were supporting Ukraine! Trump completely looked pathetically weak and embarrassed the U.S. on the world stage!

Beth the Baker's avatar

Has Trump ever looked otherwise? I don’t understand how anyone can see him as strong, even his followers. He loves anyone who praises him - until they stop. He whines and calls people names. He doesn’t support anything or anyone unless they benefit him. He’s the epitome of weak. He’s clearly “a legend in his own mind.”

The irony when I hear men say they voted for him because they wanted someone strong in the White House is just too much. He will go down in history just as he began - a narcissist who uses other people to get what he wants and no amount of rewriting history will save him.

Sorry - got a bit wound up there.

R Cyclone's avatar

Agree. Did you notice the affectionate pats on the hand when he greeted Putin. That was really weird. Sure didn’t make him look strong. Red carpet, pats on hand, ride in “the Beast limousine”, a military flyover for a dictator accused of war crimes that has killed thousands of civilian. None of this was a show of strength or courage.

Expand full comment
Patrick E. White's avatar

This was obscene. Someone should show Trump "the military flyovers" that the Ukrainian people have suffered for three years. A military flyover is a sign of respect or at least celebration. Putin did not deserve it. Neither does Trump for that matter

A narcissist beyond measure which magnifies all of the traits you mentioned Doc, to a degree of horror and terror that is difficult to reign in because it makes him so unstable . It did make him unpredictable, however, as his mental capacity begins to decline, he’s becoming more predictable and vulnerable. That’s what has to be tapped into, a la Gavin Newsom.

The Alaskan response against Putin, against Trump was huge!!! It was entirely focused on support for Ukraine. I expect you did not perceive it as such because it had to take place outside the confirms of the military base. Of course the Trump controlled media only covered what happened on base. Which was yet another humiliation for Trump. Just notice Putin’s grin to the photographers from inside the ‘Beast’, the Presidential vehicle.

I hope all the MAGA Trump supporters are happy to have paid for this extravagant theatre. I hope also that MAGA remember their Medicaid will End just After the midterms. The next elections - local, state, federal - would be a good survival decision to vote Democrat!
