This is exactly why I keep reading your posts every day. I’m really grateful there’s somewhere I can go that lays out what’s actually working and makes it easy to understand. Thank you for doing this.
Well said…and kudos to our Head Cheerleader (you) for keeping us all relatively optimistic that we are helping to preserve our democracy and that there are way more of us than them!!!
Yes! I look forward to reading your reports. I like to start my day with them, prior to ready about all the horrible things that are happening. It makes surviving easier. Thank you so much. My husband is not a computer person, so I print them every day so he can have some sunshine in his life, too.
I also print out Scott's posts for a friend who is not online but has always read voraciously about US history and politics via her library. Sadly, the whole library system in our area no longer looks like a library for independent thinkers. Another thing that I can only hope will be addressed when Dems are in power!
Now if we can just keep our absolutely horrible Republican Supreme Court from f’ing everything up. I want legal experts to start publishing books calling out the destruction of democracy by this Supreme Court. Call out the Justices by name and their roles. They need to see how history is going to record their role in the destruction of democracy. That could get their attention as they face an early look at their destructive legacy.
Thank you, Scott for your list of big wins! Pivotal is that the lower courts are flinging dumpster's illegal dictums back in his face and blocking the malfeasance of the Supremes.
We The People need to lash back at these monsters vigorously!
I read yesterday where someone commented, in essence, that the current SCOTUS has been handing down regime-favored decisions fast and furious because their objective was to be the LAST-EVER SCOTUS before Trump consolidated absolute power, per the plans of the Heritage Foundation.
And we need to keep urging people to vote and push back against the narrative that voting is compromised. If enough people vote Blue, it will be impossible to commit voter fraud in the midterms on the scale people worry about. The voting system is too decentralized for that kind of attack. We need the blue tsunami we should have had in November 2024 and 2018.
We need people like Stephen Miller in prison, too.
Voting IS compromised. How do you think Trump won in 2016 and 2024? With his track record, do you really think he played by the rules? Sadly, our system is not as strong as it used to be and not strong enough to beat back his evil. This enabled him to succeed twice at stealing elections. He only failed to steal 2020 because of the surge in mail-in voting brought on by COVID. Mail-in ballots are harder to tamper with.
That doesn't mean we shouldn't vote, obviously! What we need to do is build the cybersecurity to protect the midterms from hackers and their ability to manufacture any results they want. If you or anyone else reading this has any idea of who might be working on such cybersecurity, and how we can support these efforts, I'd really appreciate knowing about them.
Election Truth Alliance has done a tremendous job of analyzing the data and documenting all kinds of funny business in several elections, including a recent primary in which someone no one has ever heard of took out a sitting Republican representative (Thomas Massie) who dared to stand up to Trump. Do please visit their site, read their reports and support them if you can. www.electiontruthalliance.org
I never said he didn't play by the rules, nor did I claim the PRESIDENTIAL elections weren't compromised. What I said is a fact, not an opinion. Midterms are much more difficult to interfere with.
Even if you think the This Will Hold folks are correct about 2024, it involved a small number of targeted precincts, because it's the only way to attack a highly decentralized electoral process.
We must overwhelm them with numbers. Fear mongering plays right into their hands and is a form of surrender in advance.
I wish the entire country would change their voting systems to mail-in ballots. They are safer! There's no machines able to be programmed to change the results with mail-in ballots.
#3-foiling his voter purge. Voting BLUE in these upcoming mid-terms is so critical to hold this administration accountable for the many unlawful and unconstitutional acts in these almost 16 months!!
Under Speaker Mike Johnson, the House has been rendered null & void. Let’s vote him and his fellow Republicans out of office, and let’s elect representatives in, who will represent the interests of making life fair and affordable for ALL Americans.
1. 2. 3. If we can't vote we can't change this crap! That SAVE Act has to fail! Just another attempt to attack our voting rights! Actually funny thing is it would probably hurt Republicans MORE than Democrats but it is Voter Suppression plain and simple.
Thanks for the simple upbeat list of Resistance wins. Encourage your readers to check out YouTube’s The Resistance with upbeat danceable protest songs and clever lyrics like “The Most Highly Anticipated Obituary in the History of the World.”
You did it, Scott! You have put millions of smiles on our faces today, June 27, 2026, and I am anticipating millions and millions more.....once the rest of the world wakes up❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ A big THANK YOU❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Scott, the closing of Alligator Alcatraz is the number one victory for this Florida resident. DeSantis used taxpayer money to kiss Trump’s a - -. It was built in a protected area of the Everglades and, although Ron says no damage was done to the environment, I agree with Maxwell Frost. The story is not over.
These are great strides against this regime. And let’s not forget Katie Phang’s victory against Todd Blanche in revealing more incriminating details in the Epstein files! The Supreme Court is carrying out trumps racist agenda, however.
Which one is my favorite? They’re all encouraging wins, but I especially love #1 (Go, Judge!) and #5 (yay for Science!). Thank you, Scott, for your positive posts.

Ditto! It makes my day when I read Scott's Substack posts and gives me hope for the future.🇺🇲

And Toadie Blanche! Well, all of them actually!
We’ll reopen Everglades Alcatraz and stuff it full of MAGAts.
LOL! Perfect
Yes! Charles! Let's Blue wave that swamp creature Trump and his regime back to the ooze! And yes. Miller has to go. Hopefully to jail!
Agreed! 💙🌊!

Thank you ☺️. I needed this compilation especially after all the terrible SCOTUS decisions endangering lives and our democracy.

Nicely done Scott, onwards and upwards!
Scott, you are carrying out for us what Thomas Jefferson knew to be true, “A well informed citizenry is the best defense against tyranny.”
every single one...

Number one! If we can’t vote, everything goes to $hit.
Great news for a sunny Saturday morning with coffee. Keep up the good work!
