Keep the Fascist Republican Party running scared.Because they ARE scared and DESPERATE. I pass Scott Dworkin’s info to a neighbor to help counteract the barrage of Fascist activity in the US enacted by the illegal White House occupants.

I stay grounded by going out into my garden and pulling weeds out of the ground, pretending they are all republican representatives of one kind or the other! Then I put them in a pile and watch them wither in the heat, so keep bringing the heat!

I LOVE this, Pam! I’m gonna do that - it’ll make weeding a joy, not a chore!

Pam, pulling weeds to watch them wither is productive and a self-fulfilling prophecy!!

Those kind of crowds in WV and NC give me hope...today's distraction in DC will be interesting and I hope violence free. This regime must be stopped...we're living in constant chaos. It's harmful to the general psyche of the country. Your positive tidbits are so helpful!!

⬆️....today's distraction in DC will be interesting and I hope violence free.

Interesting to note how quickly he called up the National Guard on a pretext when he refused to call them up when they were actually needed on Jan 6, 2021

FYI, I received a request to send a letter (like the ones Scott uses to write to our senators and congressmen) about Trump's take over of DC. See the link below:

https://actionnetwork.org/letters/a992e0ed57c5861fd4ba7ddf4b839c2ddb16ab46

But there was little glitch, when I got the letter it had my friend's name prepoulated instead of resetting it to blank like Scott's letters do. I reset it to my name and entered my email address before sending. \

Now it looks like my name is pre-populated in the link above - please change by clicking on the "Not Cheryl?" link and filling in your own contact info before sending out your letter.

Harris had those kinds of crowds in those states and we still lost. November 2026 is still a long ways away. People have extremely short attention spans and even shorter memories. And remember, the real harm isn't even going into effect until after the mid-terms.

Getting the Army into DC to get rid of homeless people (as an excuse) is the next step in fascist takeover! It is not a joke! We do not want the US Army used against our own less fortunate people!

Amen, Veronika! The irony is that trump is adding significantly to the number of those who cannot afford to be anything but homeless, while he simultaneously guts all programs that are there to help them, and he takes that money and benefits the billionaires in their thousand acre mansions. {ETC.}

It’s so shameful, so wrong, I can’t believe this is our reality in America after 7 + months. Our reality ever, actually.

Gerrymander -->> Increase Number of seats held by GOP in state Legislature -->> wash and repeat.

The same thing happened in NC although we have been able to elect Democrats as Governor, AG, and Secretary of State. This last election we added Lt. Governor and Supt. of Public Education. The governor has flip-flopped between Democrats and Republicans but there have been more Democrats that Republicans. AG and SoS are even more heavily weighted towards Democrats.

Great question Scott; I am not grounded; I’m angry, I’m shocked, and often discouraged! A neighbors daughter is off to college next week and she asked me if I’ve always protested. I told her when I was a freshman at UNH it was Nixon and the Vietnam war. We would hop in someone’s car and drive to DC to march and sit on the WH lawn singing peace songs. Now Nixon almost seems like a boy scout. So my message to her is: stand up for what you believe in, do it peacefully but stay engaged.

I'm always reminding myself that this is not a sprint, but a marathon. I also look for ways to activate locally. Right now (Kansas) I'm involved with maintaining a Democratic Governor for the state, which is red. We experienced the Brownback experiment and don't want to have that happen here again. Or in DC, for that matter.

Thanks Scott, as always, for bringing us this good news. I pray there is no violence in DC. Trump is creating a problem in DC where none exists. He did the same thing in LA. Distractions distractions! Continue to put the focus on his failed bill and the Epstein scandal.

I read you every day. Thank you for keeping us up to date. I continue to fight against gerrymandering in TX I recently spoke at my city of Keller, TX Council meeting against their new partnership with ICE. Our mayor is up Abbott’s ass and doing this as he runs for higher office!! I have the ICEBlock app to record ICE sightings. I’m in disbelief that this is happening here!!
